Well, that last comment I posted came out kind of incorrectly. What I meant was, Volz was probably a very popular surname that was frequently used in Germany but I don't know if that's still quite as true.
Cool, I am a Volz as well, I wonder how far we are related to each other. The Volz family doesn't seem to be a particularly large one, at least not so much in the United States, perhaps much moreso in Germany however.
