  • Beautiful man wish i was there!!!!

  • 11 people aint got the guts to chase tornadoes!

  • Very good video!! ;)

  • How close was that lightning to you guys at 9:00?

  • 2:46 holy shit that is fucking huge.

  • how somebody who dosnt like that

  • Hmm I don't remember this unless it was near Kadoka or Interior....

  • little Dogs :D

  • nice clouds...XD

  • LOL Enya. Some nice, happy music to set the mood for epic, tornadic destruction.

  • do i hear someone mowing there lawn?!

  • @genio6589 their*

  • @genio6589

    - it's not; it's the tornado siren i believe...

  • @genio6589

:P even if there is coming a tornado they just keep on mowing :P

  • I'm sick of watching severe weather on my computer screen, I wanna chase!!

  • Who knoes what the song is at the end of the video? Please help... thanks!

  • "Orinoco Flow" by Enya

  • Once again guys you have another video on here where you are filming a developing SELF CLOUD. This is an outflow feature and does not posses any rotation in it. Please try to better educate your selves before going into the field like this.

Here is a tip: tornadoes rarely form on the leading edge of a storm (where you are in this video) and will never come out of a shelf cloud.

  • awesome

  • were is this?

  • Jackson County, South Dakota

    when? June 6, 2007

  • 7:03 looks like a hurricane eye XD

  • amazing

  • nice touch with playing enya for the last few minutes!

  • At 2:50 that thing was HUGE!

  • as a storm chaser my self i have never seen that happen before nice vid btw

  • Then you obviously aren't a storm chaser as shelf clouds are very, very common.

  • at 6:33, wtf are those black things running saround?

  • lol, those were some dogs that happened to be running around just in some random gravel parking lot.

  • Describing something intimidating as 'evil' seems to be your catchphrase.

  • dog cat idk

  • @han777777 ALEINS!!!!THEY ARE ALEINS!!!!

  • Let this video completely buffer and then drag the progress button across to speed it up and its very cool watching the clouds form at high speed....cool vid

Born and raised in North Alabama, no stranger to tornados.

  • 2:37 a shaped cloud looked like a claw from an aligator

  • you guys have good video of gust fronts, but I am not seeing much Wall-cloud action here. A gust-nado is not the same thing as a Tornado... Come to west Texas and I'll show you a twister!

  • What an amazing storm! Storm chasing season is here once again .....

  • Thanks for watching. Yeah, I'm really getting the itch to get that first chase of the season underway. Almost pulled the trigger this past weekend but couldn't go.

  • I was thinking about going on a chase as well ..... There was all kinds of active weather anywhere east and south of us

  • another truly amazing storm video. The structure was awesome and really looked mean as hell. Great catch...

    -gerrit

  • Thank you so much. Yeah the structure on this thing was amazing. Some of the coolest I've seen.

  • wow i live in maine and we usaly dont get weather like that! but we could but wat is it like having tornados??

  • wow you guys r grate

  • is there a second part to this video? I'd like to see what happens after this. Does the storm eventually catch up to you? I really want to be a storm chaser.

  • Damn that's nuts. Did it ever touchdown? I love this shit man. I want to be a stormchaser so bad or atleast do it once in my life.

  • I watch that 5 times on the weekend its so COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for watching!

  • is that a lawn mower i hear in the background lol

  • Thanks! I appreciate you watching them.

  • fantastic pictures

  • how many supercells do u guys run into? 500000?

  • wild man

  • Oh wow. Did a tornado ever touch down? we've been in a tornado once and it scared me so badly that a regular thunderstorm scares me now. I wish my mom would get us a storm shelter. It would make me feel much better.

  • Awesome structure and lightning - this is when I'd be wishing for underground shelter: when skies look this scary, it's time to hide. LOL Unfortunately, not even a root cellar to take refuge in ... just a teenytiny, claustrophobic half sized bath. Get me and twin sis in there, no room for a mattress!! 5/5 stars.

  • Thank you for the comments. To this day, this is still probably the most beautiful and evil looking storm I have ever experienced, and we've been chasing for some 17 years now. The video doesn't do it justice. It was like a giant pinwheel in the sky with incredible motion.

  • I've seen some nasty looking skies in my years living in Texas, on my (non) chases...but this one takes the cake. WOW. A giant pinwheel ... I see one of those coming at me, I'm ducking!! Thanks for sharing, Uncle Grizzo. :)

  • NASty supercell skies!! Incredible footage; five out of five stars!

    ~TxStoryTeller. :)

Added to "More Weather" playlist; thanks!

  • why this happens on my birthday

  • Are you guys really storm chaser?

  • I believe aliens start some storms, as a distractions for when they abduct. Who here has ever witnessed a storm with fake long lasting crackle? me almost every other storm. They blame global warming for the increase, but aha, noo i think they are all wrong. it is 4:30 in the morning and right now im witnessing one of these storms. every 30 seconds there is lightning but no thunder. Whats worse? we arnt supposed to be getting a storm, and there is no rain either. counicidense? i think not.

  • nice video man =]

  • Nice gust front.

  • is this the same supercell that chased you guys in the other video? If so is this one before or after that video? Subscribed.

  • Yes. This video was taken shortly after producing a tornado near Kyle, just south of the badlands area. Two supercells basically merged into one giant and thats when the video starts. We were actually in a perfect location to let the storm roll in on us. The other video is of the same storm moments after the end of this video. We pretty much let this storm get as close as we could before getting slammed, then took off and started filming the video of us being chased.

  • Thanks for watching and subscribing!

  • that's awesome videos you got there! subscribed! :)

  • Sweet storm~~

  • I love storm videos. Great job!

  • Question: Is that the storm singing or did you edit "Sail Away" in? If it's the storm, are big supercell storms known to sing like that?

  • Only the really good ones.

  • @o968u: UncleGrizzo's probably joking.

  • oh man that was savage!! especially that wall cloud at the end.the updraft must have been crazy!! love this vid. this is something i want to do when i leave college.

  • another great vid, keep up the good work!

  • Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. I have a friend that lives in Australia that I chat with once in awhile. She's a storm lover also.

  • yeah no probs :) i commented on the first clip that i seen of yours, but yeah i love storms, here it thunders so loud sometimes it cuts the power off momentarily its unbelievable, also how often do you get more videos? as i want to subscribe!

  • Well, its the middle of winter hear now (or the slow season as I like to call it), so I havent had any new videos for awhile. I am going to go through my footage from last summer and try to put some new stuff up soon. There is some stuff I dont have up here yet so hopefully soon!

  • thats one big super/tornado/storm thanks for adding the vid xP

  • i skiped some of the parts bcuz it's to long lol nice video btw

  • why didnt ya stay for the baseball size hail? ;)

  • dude did u hear that plane man i would hate to no be on that

  • Gotta love a big shelf cloud coming for ya!

  • Awesome video! That transport truck in the video is MacKinnon Transport Inc. from Guelph,Ontario,Canada. :)

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Very nice! Gotta respect nature! Wish we had those in our regions (W-EUR) ;)

  • That ground looks flat as far as you can see. Where were you standing with all that lightning going on? ;-)

  • We were actually in a dirt parking lot off of some small road. Looking back now, I was lucky I didnt get struck with all that lightning going on, but this was a perfect location to let this storm roll in on us.

  • This was hands down the best storm structure I have ever seen. Glad I could be there to see it with ya!

    Great vid!

  • OMG i wish we got that in Australia!!!!!!!

  • Awesome clip that. Nothing we get in Christchurch, New Zealand comes close to what you guys get.

Australia gets some good thunderstorms, and they morph into supercells on a regular basis, but when it comes to tornadoes you guys rule.

  • enya wtf good video

  • I heard this music in Chicago at the dolphin show.

  • Dude...Enya?!?!?! Sweet-ass storm, though. Good capture.

  • You could get a microphone muffler thingy,. so when it's windy and/or blustery you don't get the wind bashing on the mic; sounds better too, you would hear lightning MUCH better with it as well. Great vid though; is truly amazing what mother-nature throws at us. :) Spectacular footage!!!

  • Thanks for the input.

  • You're welcome, thanks for posting the vid, nice one! :) Peace :)

  • i love weather chasing havnt seen nuttin like dat though

  • I live in Portsmouth which is located in the South of England. We usually get storms like this 1 without the tornadoes, but not this year we have had heavy rainfall for the past 3 weeks, which has left most of England under water.

We get some tornadoes where i live, due to the structure of the land. but there not very big ones though.

  • thats a friggin' awsome storm dude i'm glad u got that on video..that was sick!

  • DUDE, i live in Kyle, took some pics of the tornado that touched down about 5 miles south of us, it was w/ the camera phone, but nonetheless, it was pretty awesome.

  • I live in ND, close to the SD border line and we've been getting a LOT of storms like that...

  • A similar (without the tornados, ofcourse) storm hit us here in Sweden last night. Unbelievable. I didn't see very much of it though,i nearly shat my pants becuase it went straight over my city. The Swedish weather agency left out a warning class 1, which equals 500 lightning strikes per hour. Remember now, this is SWEDEN, it does not happen often at all.

  • Wow, thats pretty cool. I suppose in Sweden you don't get to see that very often. Have you ever seen a tornado?

  • That was some awesome structure.

  • Yeah, this was one of the coolest looking storms I have ever seen. It turned into a giant pinwheel and it was awesome to sit in this spot and watch it come right at us.
