@khronoGTA The V8's are not as good as the V10's... Sure, todays cars are pretty much as fast around most tracks, but that is not because of the V8 engine; but the slick tyres and the fact that in 2004 they carried race fuel onboard with them in qualifying. Even 2007 cars that lack the slick tyres, but posses higher dowforce and rev limits, are as fast as this years cars on most tracks.

@TuneViper You are talking about a bloody Renault there! From the end of 2001 (V10) until the beginning of 2007 (V8) they were superb and very hard to beat off the line, despite the weather condition.
