No, they have to be LightScribe, they have a special label on all their discs. If you try a normal dvd-r for lightscribe it will brake your drive

yes, you need lightscribe caple disks. You can find them at target 10 4.7gig dvd-r for $10

Nop, just gray tones. But one you adjust the colors (its better to turn the picture B&W before) it looks great.

Very nice. I see you're using Surething v4 Standard Edition. Surething CD Labeler Deluxe v5 now has mega support for lightscribe labeling. You can also get a ton of cool clip art and background images made just for lightscribe called ArtScribe.
