I have to agree with you, it was a scam that Paul Moller tried to pull to get venture capital funding for a project that would never get off the ground. Plus all the reasons you mentioned above.

i really don't know what venture capital is but i know his friend funded a lot of it the friend was a millionaire i know they spent millions i watched a documentary bout it years ago its never been flown without a cable attached to it it is very unstable in my opinion it was a big waist of money
