hmong pp do have blonde hair for as long as 5 thousand yrs ago. About half of my uncles are very light skin..brown..and some are redhair. bcuz in Laos and China blackhair are dominent..people seem to be prejudice against blondehair and redhair individuals.

we have black hair from the chinese... there's a little chinese in hmong because when the war with hmong against chinese, the chinese captured some hmong women and made them into wives... those women came back and gave birth to sons and daughter with black hair so that's where it came from. the blue eyes thing isn't really actually true.

I don't know if the blue eyes thing is or isn't true. And though I don't doubt Hmong and Han/others did intermarry, black hair is a phenomenon that represent the asian community, which is to say that Hmong people did already have black hair long before any contact or intermarriages did take place in chinese antiquity.

The reason why they are mixing Hmong with Chinese is because they are living in China...It's not that they can't speak Hmong properly they probably speak the true hmong language better than we do...As our people moved down Southern Asian we picked up Laos and Thai words to add to our own dialet and adapt to the changing environment. Most of us here in America speak Hmonglish.

Okay, I just wanted to get my nosey opinion out: (Please don't get mad/offended) I too, think HmoobSuav sounds like the Hmoob Leeg dialect, but by looking at her "necklace" she is Hmong Dawb...b/c Hmoob Leeg wear different necklace...right? hmong leeg is the original hmong tongue upon arriving into vietnama and laos. over the years the hmong has adapted into other languages and the hmong dawb dialect is what we have now. but hmong leeg is the original language.

This is a beautiful song, but I have to agree with everyone that her talents aren't the best.

Where a person comes from can be distinguished by their headdress and necklace and it's quite possible that she could have acquired her necklace outside of China.

i think people have said that the Miao in Yunnan area or in the south of China speak in Miao in a way that us Hmong out of China cam somewhat understand.

i agree that her voice is not the best but it could improve with coaching or something.

I've heard the original version of this version. At least she's a lot better sounding than the other karaoke versions I've heard. It is really hard to sing I believe, because the pitch fluctuates from extremely high to extremely low.
