When Portuguese traders reached Tanegashima in the 16th century, they thanked the locals by saying "obrigado". i have to say, as Portuguese, i am not proud of the curent status of my country... unfortunately, portuguese politicians are the worse in the world, they are the main responsibles for the current situation. instead of "asking" money to EU, we should work in solving the political problems: find competent and serious people to politics, changing the system, with the help of EU

I think that the heraldic cross symbol became widely known and perhaps it was catched by christian designers. In 1917, a competition was held for the design of the Finnish flag. Originally used in heraldic symbols but it´s not surely a flag. The cross is also a common symbol of christianity.

So they wanted to exclude Portugal from the EU when it's a loved country, i thought we were supposed to help one another all united, yeah right, the Fins just forget who helped them in the past.. Portugal is an amazing country a country for everyone.

@D33iSlAM no one is "wanting to exclude" anyone from the EU. It's not about that. 1. You're comparing humanitarian aid with an economic bailout. Finland actually gives 2.5 times more aid than Portugal each year, and they're a country half our size. 2. The EU is not a "dude help me out I spent all my money"-club, it's supposed to be a forum for economic growth. 3. this video is arrogant and it's begging for money at the same time. I'm ashamed and you should be too.
