do me a favor, grab a fist of your economic product and sniff it. YIAKKKK! ... i se you are running to the shower. . now do the same with a piece of foam. did you even blink? i thought so.
now, mechanical fresh air, who is talking about a fan. your a/c does the work by pulling outside air. if the a/c fails well, everything failed. after this class i,m sure you are eager to buy a foam machine .
you idiot, 90% of the homes in this country are fiberglass, and you are trying to make it sound unhealthy....GOOD LUCK.
I crawl in it all day, doesnt bother me for some reason? I bet you know better though. I imagine everybody runs their hvac's 24/7 365 now? Most air leaks in a home are doors and windows, and under the bottom plates(which get caulked) THANKS FOAM!! Buying a foam machine requires a proven copy of your Mental Retardation w/ a note attached confirming you are a crook.......
it sounds to me like you are one of those remaining insulators still buying that allergic blown insulation from lowe,s or the pulverized glass batt. yeah, the one that sips into your home when the ceiling fan turns or trhu the spot light crevices and end up in your little kids lungs and you dont know why they wake up
with a nasty runny nose, rest assure . we are not here for your cheap homes amigo, we are here for the big mansions who really knows best. be very scare we are taking over BUUUHH!
fiberglass alone has 85% of the market......foam is around 5% WOO HOO!!40+ years of foam and 5% of the share?......if you dont seal the ceiling dont blame the insulation. Big mansions who really know best? Sure, or const. expo jockeys that build "cost plus" trying every product that looks cool, ROI or not. Without mechanical ventilation(which is guaranteed to fail at one point) This insulation keeps fresh air out, creating an unhealthy house, srry kids, our home may kill us cause a fan died.
The crooks making and installing this stuff have just been handed their dues from the IRC, IACC. No more cathedral ceilings over 500sqft or 20%, and no more BullSht R-19 on the rafters. No more lies about how new homes need to be tighter, no more hiding the fact that batt, cellulose have similar R-values at far less the cost. I cant wait to see these crooks all go bankrupt after moisture lawsuits, homes too tight that can slowly kill people, and real world lack of savings.
Unvented attic? Thats new to me. I want to stop cold air conduction. In other word I want a thermal brake between the cold and my 2x4or6 or anything attached to it like Chip board. I have been looking at exteriour Spray foam from footing to roof but Rigid foam boards I think might be needed for Siding instulation. I don't quite get open cell as I currently understand it breaths and convection could occur in the wall cavity. Could someone please clarify? please reply 2 comment so i will rec notc
