but why is it so bad to play the gamecub version ,i mean true fans know the original mgs1 .

@blitzballgamer125 because MGS on PSX has that unexplainable legendary atmosphere.. GC version is good.. but when i played it.. i had that wierd feeling "something is missing.. this isn't right."

not to mention that MGS on PSX is highly nostalgic game.. my first touch on MGS was when i were only 10 years old and my older brother was playing it =D probably that's why Best Is Yet To Come is one of my all time favorite songs too.. so much history.. so many good memories too =)

1) You use Solid Snake at beginning of MGS2, then the boat sinks, and Raiden's storu starts.

2)Yes the ones with gray fox, are from teh gamecube remake of MGs1.

3) Meryl in MGS2, is only a bonus game it has nothing to do with the story, Snake never sees meryl again untill the events in MGS4.

MGS cutscenes use realtime gameplay graphics, they dont change

cause cutscenes are more like movies and are developed for a different team and the gameplay is developed by another people. And because they usually use the cutscenes to make the trailers for the game so if it looks good people will want to buy it XD
