Conosco benissimo i Cure e la musica (sono insegnate di chitarra e conosco molto bene la batteria) e se andiamo a vedere Boris e Andy nn sono mai riusciti a suonarla con tale potenza e precisione, facendomi capire ancora una volta chel la tua e quella di altri è semplicemente una ridicola ricerca del pelo nell'uovo.

With respect to Jason his drums are mixed very poorly on 413 Dream. Not that that's the only thing wrong with it, the whole album is mastered too hot.

This is a very good, interesting version. Robert sounds the way he did on three Imaginary boys, very clipped, post-punk. I am always surprised by him, pleasantly so.

Boris is way better than Jason.. he sounds better too.. jason is too weak and as Ive read in a forum he is one of the worst rock drummers around. Too bad for a band like The Cure dont u think?

@pierrebarraud in 1996 his snare drum sounded like it has no snares at all! and talking about his technique, just to and watch Close to me in Brazil 1996 and watch how his stick bounces over the snare drum... very ameteurish!

He never ever really sounded good live or studio!

@pierrebarraud please, take your time and really listen to how the drums sound in Closedown, the way he added stupid pre-recorded shtt in A strange day, fascination street or prayers for rain.

And compare sounds of a 1982 bootleg with Lol (look for the Le Zenith concert) and Trilogy with Jason. Even a bootleg + Lol (the "less talented Cure drummer") is better than jason cooper.

Lol left good drum patterns like All cats are grey, drowning man, etc and was steadier (primary, 3IB album, etc). Rgds

Love how in the concerts Robert plays the older songs and doesnt just concentrate on the newer ones. I think he's proud of all his material and confident to play it all. A truely wonderful artist!!!
