I was born in Portugal but capeverdian descent. If portuguese ask me where I'm from and I'll say I'm portuguese, they will ask, oh yeah but where are your parents from, what means that although I'm portuguese in the way that I was born and raised there, they won't see me as portuguese but as capeverdian. I'm both. It is stupid to say that Cape Verde is not a real country. If it's not a real country, so Brazil is not a real country as well and neither Angola.
