This happens on all versions of this game. There is a spot on that level, that if you stand on it keeps you in the air. To beat this glitch, just walk to the next zone instead of trying to get Ajax down. And no not only Ajax can get stuck up their. Other NP characters may get stuck. Walk to the next zone, and Ajax or whoever got stuck will be their. Watch out for the glitch.
