I really hate how they always merge the Queen of Hearts and the Red Queen together when aside from being queens who wear red, they have nothing in common with eachother (the Red Queen is actually rather nice, in a prickly, schoolmarmish sort of way)

@CinnabonChan Indeed. They always combine the two... but perhaps that's the thing. At the end of Looking Glass, Alice figured out the Red Queen was the cause of the mischief. When Alice went insane, the tyrannical Queen of Hearts merged with the Red Queen, becoming one and giving her dominion over the cards and red chess pieces, making her army big enough to conquer all of Wonderland. It's also possible the Queen of Hearts had the original Red Queen executed and took her crown.

@Aqua311 The last one make sense actually. The Red Queen in the book was actually quite nice at heart, even if she acted like a bossy schoolmarm. I can see the Queen of Hearts disposing of her in a coup (since the White chess pieces are still around)
