What you fail to realize is that millions of people cannot afford insurance at all and if they can, they are often locked into one company because of who they work for. You say you can always find healthcare somewhere, that is not true at all. Free clinics can do little. How does reform hurt the motivation to innovate? Insur. co's have no reason to innovate right now; They make tons of $ off of sick and dying people. they dont innovate.

Do you know what his policies call for? MANDATED coverage, employers are fined for not offering coverage, government option determines treatment given. Government MANDATES YOUR health decisions. #1 they do have a birth certificate for him from the state of hawaii that has been mulled over about 100 times and beyond a shadow of a doubt has been confirmed legit.
#2 he is pushing of a public option which means the government will provide a form of insurance for you so those who are discarded by the current industry will have coverage.
#3 there is no where in the bill that states that the government will mandate your health decision's

who do you think pays for emergency room visits for the uninsured? WE DO. The government is responsible to pay for those in life threatening situations that are uninsured. What do you think costs more, a preventative doctors visit or an emergency room visit for a untreated life threatening condition? EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS. Connect the dots. If everyone was able to go to a doctor and get treatment we would save a lot of money and people would not die from lack of care. Helping others is good.

I mean sure there's always rampant corruption in any monetary system. But the government here pays me for going to school, for being unemployed, and I hardly pay anything for operations and so forth. And we even have TV without commercials!
