@alexis92 You'll just have to see how it works out. If you're happy with it and it's all messy like Alice's after using the dryer/brush, then you don't have to straighten. But only you can decide that for your hair. Depends how it turns out

I usually flip the top out a bit more, and rather than twisting it around on top i just bend it at an angle. also i almost always blowdry it upside down for volume! Everyone does it differently and yours is really cute 2!

@kikikodpf3 Well, I'm not really sure since I didn't put anything in for shine for that style lol. But for other styles I use either Special Effect's Silk Drops or Got2Be's Dazzling Shine Spray.

@kikikodpf3 i think that almost any styling spray works for my hair, but make sure you brush it before straightening, once i forgot to burush it and just combed and it was really plain looking when i was done. Anyhoo, good luck with the shininess!

don;t torture youy hair like that anymore.

you have to have short and long layers in your hair. the ones who are on top of your had shorter than the rest. it's graduated or whatever the name is. if you get the proper haircut (take a picture from new moon to your hairdresser). and then just apply some separation product on your hair and blow dry it with your head down so that you get volume. don't use a brush just your fingers and you'll have much much better results

I did that, and they still cut it the normal way with graduated layers and such. They don't do anything different. Also, I just wanna say it looks better htan mine, I'll be favoriting.

lol um that kinda looks like hers but you have too much poof and not enough single twisted strands if your hair is thick try more layers and that will thin it out more just try to single out separate strands of hair with hair wax but don't do gel because it will dampen your hair and the style won't stay in for very long.

A round brush makes it super easy to get the flip. I've never tried it with a regular brush, but I don't think it will work as good. However, give it a shot! You never know lol

You can definitely get the look without bangs. I did that for a couple of weeks before I cut the bangs and it looked good

Yeah, I think so. I actually have really thin hair, but with all the layers and such that they put in it, you can't even tell and it works out really nicely.
