Yea Corpus is kinda bad to raise a family...that's why my Aunt and Uncles live in Portland instead lulz. Besides the job, I think it looks pretty cool to live in. But I wish they could get some better jobs.

I disagree. I lived in this going nowhere city for almost 28 years and I left to Los Angeles and I love it here. Corpus Christi is the only place to live if you don't mind working for minimum wage and the jobs are VERY SCARCE. I'm making almost 3x the salary I would have gotten here. Before you say anything about the cost of living, I pay almost the same rent as I would living in CC.

As for jobs, I totally agree with you AspieCub! Unless one works at the refineries, Army Depot, Navy Depot, or the Port of Corpus Christi, there isn't too much. The roads need much improvement!!! The City Coucnil and lack of leadership sucks! They lack vision, wisdom, experience, and will to advance Corpus Christi. Corpus Christi is GREAT as far as not much traffic for most part. The ISLAND is Quiet and Terrific. Flour Bluff Independent School District is GREAT!

Ranked 8th worst city in U.S. to raise a family, Corpus not only lacks leadership the people in the city also lack common sense. Roads are in dire need of fixing, mayor has no idea what he's doing and this city hires so many consultants to make the city's decision and they still get nothing done. Hmmm, where was that Ranking from? I agree with you! I didn't know the Hispanic Chamber had an anglo president? Is that now? I've seen hispanic person leading before. Yup, there's terrible and stupid leadership in the city: from Top Down. I was a Dept. Head in the city before and I know the internal stuff. Not fun.

The ranking was from Best Life Magazine, and the Caller Times actually printed it. You could look it up there if you wanted. The Hispanic Chamber of commerce's active Chairman is Chad Magill. A long time ago my father was the active chairman so we tend to keep up with what's going on in the chamber. The city is simply put "not fun". I had the worst life there being born and raised in Corpus was a nightmare. Maybe I can try to one day make it better, but I doubt I'll want to go back.

Corpus Christi has so much OPPORTUNITY to be improved and developed. That's the great part. LEADERSHIP with honest and TRUE vision can make it happen. So far, that leadership hasn't been in place since I've been in the city from 1997.

the film is good, but the footage is shitty , these dudes cant skate for shit . and that skatepark sucks, the ledge in front , cant even be hit on the curved side, cuz the bowl is to close, boooo to this skatepark sept for the high rail , on the right. goto victoria skatepark, way better, will be open in march. by the community center.
