  • The ship was doing 7 to 8 knots the most.

  • By means of waves, it wasn't that much. But the wind gauge was showing 80 knots. I am not a deck officer, so I can not insist on. You could be right.

  • 80 knots would be more like this probably /watch?v=oUAUxxafZG4&feature=related

  • not 80 knots at all, your meter must be broken or you dont know how to read it.

a hurricane is 63 knots, sea is completely white cause of foam, you have little to no sight..

you had maybe 34 to 45 knots.

with 80 you'd have to imagine huge waves that sweep over deck even of a big ship like the one on video

  • These are floating hotels, not ships. Imagine how it must have been 100, 200, 300 years ago...

  • 80 knots wind speed is overrated... wind coming from forward should blow the sea spray from forward to the bridge at once... it seem to me that its just a normal open sea weather. 80 knots is a strong gale force and perhaps you are saying the relative wind speed. but still based on the video is not at 80 knots...

  • @mark00050006 80 knots is what the gauge was showing. You can trust me.
