  • Those clocks had some sinister connotations, he had a drunk, an abusive mom, a guy shooting a bird, a man beheading a turkey.

  • All those fantastic clocks goes off..

afterwards...mmm wonder what time it is, looks at personal watch. Rofl

  • speaking of quality animation; check out the realism on pinocchio's movements as geppetto is playing with him, the weight, the momentum!

  • The name of the cat is figaro? Just like Minnie's cat! Is it the same?

  • @QueenPenelope100 Actually, This is his first appearance. But in the years to come he became Minnie's cat. My guess is Walt just wanted to continue development of the character because he was popular. He did the same thing with Donald Duck.

  • i like how he looks at every clock that says nine o clock and still says i wonder what time it is and looks at his own

  • seems like the good disney movies were the ones made way before i was born

  • Not going to lie, I started tearing up at the song at the beginning.

  • hehe the sexual references in this film.

  • @HelterSkelterSOR there were? i i never noticed. which bit?

  • he doesnt really look like a cricket does he?

  • @HelterSkelterSOR Not really...he was originally designed to be a minor character (like in the original book) that was an actual cricket, but when he became a major character, they had to make a few adjustments.

  • I thought this movie was boring when I was little, but I appreciate so much more now. It is one of my favorite Disney movies.

  • This is my childhood right here. I can't beleve this was made in 1940. Truly amazing.

  • Yep.

  • I'm gonna make 9:11 - 9:49 my alarm to get up every morning. =D

  • WTF?!??! Why the hell was Jiminy Cricket rubbing his att at 4:03 ?!?!?!?!?!? O_O

  • @Idkwutmyusernameis

Great choice of word's on a children's page. He was warming his butt on the fire. What's wrong with that? You get offended by that, But you use cuss words HERE.

Do everyone a favor an don't ever open you're mouth again.

  • @snipez1986

    You mad, bro?

  • @snipez1986

By the way, speaking for others doesn't make you stronger or better, and it's "YOUR" mouth. Not "you're" mouth. Learn proper spelling and grammar before you go and act like some tough guy behind a computer screen.

Wile E Coyote as Figaro 6. Judge Doom as Honest John 7. Toby from The Great Mouse Detective as Gideon 8. Mr.Bean as Cleo 9. Jafar as Stromboli 10. Cat R Waul as the coachman 11. • ima a 20 years old college student . . . my days of chilhood are long gone but ill always be a kid at heart

  • This is quality, so well done... such a master piece

And what does Disney do today? Complete fucking bullshit!

  • om 20 years old too and i never watched this...i love disney movies

  • @MissSaLayLay You...You've NEVER?? At least you're making up for your lost childhood now :)

  • Modern American culture, with its emphasis on everlasting consumption, its horrendous "public education", its increasingly militant atheism, its love of socialism, its growing ignorance of the classics or even its own heritage and history (when these are not being denounced), and its love of carnality, is no better than a pig sty. Americans no longer make films like Pinncchio because such Americans no longer exist in sufficient numbers. The culture is decadent. Sad, but true.

  • What has happened to disney it use to be so in-depth with so much meaning in it's story line.. I miss that. :( all the shows now are so dumb.

  • 'wish upon a star' is so beautiful and the theme song of Disney :)

  • 9:49 after every single cuckoo clock in the house has gone off --- "i wonder what time it is."

lol i've never realized how funny this movie is (:

  • Disney films, almost make me cry... they remind me of my amazing childhood... know i'm a teenager I wish I could go back there:(.

  • and we are preparing ourselves with my borthers and sister for the rapture to heaven

  • and not to mix things with anything like an animal to a human or a human to an animal.

  • its funny, but this is undoubtedly the quintesential disney classic film, but if you go to disney world, the only evidence that you will find of it there is jiminey cricket's wish apon a star speach being played, among other noises, during the grand fireworks show in the magic kinddom at late o clock

  • 2:26, I love that. I know it's a minuscule effect but it just adds to the charm :)

  • If you make a thomas and frends parody of this use 1. Duck: Jiminny cricket 2. Thomas: Pinocchio 3. Edward: Geppeto 4. Mavis: Blue fairy 5. Diesel: Honest John 6. Scruffy: Gideon 7. Diesel 10: Stromboli 8. Bertram: the Coachmen 9. Smudger: Lampwhick 10. Toby: Figaro 11. Lady: Cleo
  • This movie has always been funny. Im 18 going on 19 next May, graduating high school and going into college next year and Im still watching this stuff! You're never too old for it!

  • I could draw this crap when I was 5. Not that hard to draw.

  • 4:02 LOL

  • How very beautiful When You Wish Upon A Star remains. Just this version, this dreamy lullaby, kinda Christmasy, loving songs. Feel like I'm sailing on a star. The lyrics work today for never losing hope.

  • I dont get it theres a whole buncha clocks in front of him then he says see wat time it is he brings out a little pocket watch i dont get it lol

  • you watch this and you begin to feel sorry for the kids today they stuck with the rubbish from todays generation

  • Best animated film ever!

  • I was so sad today D; Watching all these are making it up (:

  • The criket is gay

  • Moscomania

  • This is the greatest animated film ever made. Computer technology cannot approach the matchless craftsmanship of this film, nor can it equal the sense of depth achieved by the multi-plane camera, used extensively throughout this film. While the musical score and heart appeal is not quite as great as Snow White, over all Pinocchio the best animated film ever made. It is no longer financially possible to make such a film, nor does USA society today have culturally the people to make it.

  • @thomasjefferson6 I agree with most of your. comment but making such a broad generalization about a country ( "nor does USA society today have culturally the people to make it.") is quite bigoted and also unfounded.

  • @thomasjefferson6 Thank you bro. I felt the same. What I always liked about this film is the story of all the things that can happen to a boy when his father isn't around when he takes the short path. Story wise, probably the best disney ever did with beauty and the beast and the lion king. And the symbolism is wonderful; the nose with the lieing and the drinking and turning into donkeys. Scary, disturbing but the ending is the greatest payoff and the best ending a disney film ever probably.

  • @thomasjefferson6

    what about the lion king?

  • @thomasjefferson6 Not THE greatest animated film ever made but it is timeless. I do agree that CG cant destroy the originals and that films like this need to be seen but people can make films like this if they try. See The Princess and The Frog for example, it has the 2d animation that Disney used to do and it is an amazing film. So Pinocchio is one of Disney's best, so I do agree with u a bit.

  • @thomasjefferson6 i love hand drawn animation.

  • This movie scared me so much as a little child but I am SO glad you uploaded this without youtube taking it down. :D

  • I wish i could have one of those clocks...specifically the one with the ducks.

  • What's kinda funny is that Pinocchio's name is a blend of the italian words pine (Pino) and brat (Marmocchio)

  • this movie scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid ...

  • i love da kitteh!!!!!!!!!

  • @123goigoi ik hes soooo cute :D

  • LOOOL! A hundred clocks going off at the same time, then

" I wonder what time it is?"

And he pulls out a pocket watch to check!

  • oh the days when the godamn credits took days

    .....BUT ITS STILL MY CHILDHOOD!!!!!!!!

  • A wooden puppet which could talk and live. How magical!Childhood memories too.It is sad that today children cannot watch these cartoons and live in virtual games sometimes very violent.Magic tends to disappear.Very sad!

  • waddup HD !!! i love youuu. and i love me some pinocchio; he's such a gangster and the music rules

  • 9:45 I always laugh at that one.
