Suffolk Transit: The S92 bus route's woes

Moron! Hampton Jitney only took over the Motor Coaches of Sunrise Bus Service. Look at the sides of the S92 Busses, What Does it say? Hampton Jitney has not taken over the S92. by thye way, you have not mentioned anywaher about the 10D & 10E.

i go on that bus and the usual time you wait is a hour and i have also waited 2 hours

YAH hampton jitney doesnt care how the service is! the town of brookhaven has a jitney service that takes disabled/handicapped people around to where they want to go but thier service stops at 2:30pm!!! even that 'jitney' service sucks! i guess theres something with the name jitney that you need to watch out for bc all of them provide horrible service

i'm a driver at hampton jitney and we don't have the contract for the s92 sunrise does so know what you talk before you open your mouth

That sounds like a management issue from the transit authority and the contract managed company. The drivers do what they are told from dispatch. Maybe the schedules were revised due to low ridership. I would call and find out from the top what is going on.

here in Western Suffolk, routes like the S1 or that HART which is owned by the town of Huntington, the buses always come on time. the HART buses come every hour yet on time while the S1 goes down rt 110 every half hour and every 15 minutes on during rush hours.

good service out here. i feel sorry for you over there. those guys at HJ should be shot!

I can insure you, if you move to Mississauga, Ontario , The transit system is much better.
