blitz wasnt a street punk band.. more of an oi band.. but he didnt walk out.. nidge was hit and killed in texas.. i remember i was excited to see them when they came to california.. in like 2005 2006.. but from what i heard nidge from blitz walked across the street to buy something and he was hit and killed in texas..
A real shame the singer walked out on the rest of the band & killed a great street punk band stone dead.thought he could be a pop star or something...
@MrBaldy73 ... Jello only said that sarcastically at the beginning of the song "pull my strings". The song itself was a parody of the genres new wave, reggae and heavy metal.
They said they wernt 'Oi' anymore when they started playing stuff like this,they wanted to be more new wave or something, but yeah its still good.Sorta bit like Joy Division in parts I think
im 21 and herd these guys from a friend that at the time we both were only 15 / 16. it was an awesome turning point in many point of views..... mad respect for these guys
