Fantastic Ralph, your on-board footage gives the best feeling of the excitement when travelling behind a hard working steam engine on the main line....Thanks for enduring the elements and cinders to bring it to us ....Bob
@acw71000 Thanks Austin, she certainly got along well, I didn't have my GPS with me, and I didn't see anyone on the train with one so cannot verify any speeds.
Wonderful stuff again Ralph. I've been at Penrith when trains have come through and it's a marvellous sight from the sideline too. Picked up speed nicely following the slip (I hate slips at speed). Chris
@khankadet Thanks Chris, I knew that Penrith would be a good shot, the only problem was not knowing exactly when we were close to the station, so quite a lot of footage ended up in the bin as several times I thought, this is it now, only to find more miles of countryside.... The recovery was good, Albert again showing his experience.
@981smithy Thanks Phil, fortunately we did not come to a complete stand, got down to probably less than 10mph before the brakes came completely off. Another problem I have discovered, I am scarred for life after a small but hot lump of cinder stuck on my forehead, and note I usually manage to get these shots with the camera outside the window but my just head inside watching the screen.

Excellent footage throughout Ralph. Very enjoyable to watch a 5 at speed. But "ouch" with the hot cinder memento!!

Great stuff again Ralph, she must have looked superb storming through Penrith. You would hardly know she was limited to 60
