Incase anyone is wondering the second plane is not a DC10 its an MD11

@thommmiey you do know they are made by the same company right? douglas made the dc-10 then they merged with mcdonnal and became mcdonal douglas aka MD the md-11 is just the dc-10 they look practicaly the same on the outside. the only reason they call it the md-11 is because nobody wanted the dc-10 after united 232. heck i think the only airline that still flys the dc-10 version is fedex.

@gtafan2006 wow you know nothing McDonnell Douglas was bought out by Boeing in 1997 who retro-fitted the design with more modern features such as a glass cockpit. United 232 happened in 1989 however McDonnell aircraft and Douglas aircraft formed their merger in 1967 long before united 232. go look up your facts before you try to correct me.

My son and I are going to the Steve Miller Band concert in Tampa this Sunday night.
