  • Mine goes on the SIDE of my glasses

  • He likes up close and personal :)

  • @MyWildlifeVideos oh he does, I'm just his play gym lol

  • yep, my Shasta does the very same thing. Or he? rolls over on his back and then get mad at me, like I did it....!

  • @telenurse1 lol I can relate to mad bird. Loki gets a foot tangled in my hair sometimes then seems to think it was my fault :)

  • lol!!! My cinnamon GCC sits on my glasses when I'm wearing them... but she prefers to sit on my head all day long, and she uses my long hair like she would ropes. Sometimes she slides down my locks like a fireman on a pole lol. She also jumps in the shower with me and tries to preen my wet hair ha ha she just makes a big mess but i love her :)

  • @tink971 gotta love them :) Loki doesn't usually hang out on my head unless he flies to me while I'm moving around the house. I just happened to have the camera that day lol

  • My favorite is when my green cheek squeezes between my glasses, & eye. They are the sweetest birds. Luv to cuddle :)

  • OH ...This is sooooo cute!!!

  • That's my #1 problem.

  • Cute!

He probably likes your hot breath on his belly.

My Pineapple GCC hangs on the side of my glasses as long as I'll let him.

  • Haha, my baby does that all the time. My glasses have minute scratches all over them. She also likes to go in our shirts an poke her head out. She'll also go in the hoods of our hoodies while we have them up. It's like she wants to wear our clothes!

  • hmmm my comment got cut short... anyways I don't have glasses, so I don't have that exact problem but I think maybe it's an eye contact thing, because my GCC Chester will hang off my bangs upside down and look me in the eyes at the level your loki is at. some times he'll try to preen my eyelashes... he will sit there forever if I don't make him move and if i'm on the computer and make him move, he'll purch on the monitor and watch me.

  • HAHAHA THIS IS SO FUNNY!!

  • My parakeets try to sit on my ear, LOL, but that doesn't work out to well for them!

  • LOL what we put up with. To bad humans dont get along like animals do?

  • lol lol beautiful guy lol lol bunnies rule

  • Our Giggle green cheek also tries to use the glasses as a perch, pretty silly!

  • My GCC, Coco, does the same thing. My glasses must be the perfect size perch for her. Cockatoo (Bailey) prefers my lap; Derbyan (Tasha) likes my shoulder. Love this vid!

  • hehe Loki usually hangs on to the neck of my shirt, but occassionally the glasses are preferred :) Aren't they fun?! lol

  • my lory hangs on my nose ring. she thinks its fun. I DON'T

  • You should see my bird. She sits on my head. They are soo cute but they are evil and clingy. XD

  • Don't you love it when they are clingy tho? Even when it seems annoying I adore him :)

  • loki is trying to dominate you by trying to go on top of your head to stop this problem just come down your hand on top of him like he would be on top of you to show your the matriarch/leader this wont change much but this will just give you some respect from your bird

  • lol. How old is he/she?

  • Loki will be 7 in March. Still a young one :)

  • a cute little one. =)

  • Heh, I have a green-cheeked too. Pinch loves climbing onto my glasses and ears.

Worse than that, she loves chewing on my hair ties until they break and next thing you know, I have a panicking bird swinging from long, tangled hair.

They say birds are smart, but she never learns.

  • Have you considered that she finds that moment of panicked swinging to be enjoyable? :) Loki always gets tangled in my hair, nothing wil keep him from trying again.

  • Hubbys bird loves to sit on top of his hat and holds on to the button with her beak when he walks around. Thank goodness the brim protects his face from younowhat!

  • Loki loves standing on my head and climbing down my face. He seems to have figured out that that isnt the place to go tho Im not sure how that happened.

  • Hmmmn, I don't wear glasses. I usually just get the poop going down my back. ;-)

  • so far Ive been fortunate and havent been slimed while he's on my head lol

  • If you look at gumleyboy's videos, you will find that one of his budgies likes to do that too!

  • hehe I suspect all birds will do it given the chance :)

  • I showed my student your video. Is LOKI a lovebird?

  • The video response is a parrotlet, Loki is a green cheek conure

  • Mine hangs off my fringe whenever he can. Sweet but quite annoying when you're trying to do something!!!

  • Loki usually hangs from my hair when I'm moving around from room to room. It can be annoying at times ;)

  • Yeah, Our budgie Johnny likes to perch on my glasses. Unfortunately his bum always ends up where my mouth is!

  • lol that wouldn't be a good thing. You should try to get video of it next time he does it :)

  • good question. He's good. Just not the star of the latest videos. He's getting conceited. He has been hanging out with his brother a little more and getting more vocal. I'll try to capture some of that in a few weeks. Work is also busting my butt.

  • Bean has a little brother?? Hope work slows down for you!

  • Loki is so cute! That was very sweet.

    k

  • he's my little cuddle bird :) Where's Bean these days?

  • Bean is on my glasses too! boombella put me up to posting a video response. Filmed last year.

  • I love it :) Finally YT lets me see your comment!

  • Haha, my cockatiel Loki does that, save for he tries to swing around by his beak, using the bridge of my glasses. He's a real pain in the neck!

  • lol I bet. The only thing he tends to do that I put a stop to quickly is biting on earrings ouch ouch!

  • He's not as well behaved as I am.

  • well I encourage this type of anarchist behavior as long as he doesn't bite :)

  • My owner trusts me way too much. We bite things we shouldn't. Parrots are untrustworthy.

  • Is Loki swearing yet?

  • He better never! I trained myself to not swear around the bird lol
