Are you sure it's not good despite its trite and boring message? Please recall that my comment began with the qualifier: "This song's really nice, and the melody is soft and lovely" :V I didn't click the dislike button on the video either. The lyrics are boring as hell. The melody is soft and lovely.

Also, having no dislikes doesn't mean it's good, it means nobody's seen the video. It's been up since 2008 and has less than 6000 views. The most viewed upload probably has more than zero dislikes.

That's practically a reenactment of one of the cutscenes that happened earlier. I think he is watching over Dark Gaia, and he left that for Sonic to remember him by. Maybe that jewel thing might appear in the next canon Sonic game.
