  • @chevyfan1251992 Hey man I was wondering what age you got this. also how long did it last, did you get on it alot, and what was your insurance cost? im 16 and im looking to buy one in about 4 months or so and i live in NY so insurance is insane but anyway i wanted to get all the info from a real owner of one thanks.

  • @MegaHeavylifter Please inbox me. Kind of a long response to a long question lol

  • somone along the ownership line probably had 2 replace the gauges

  • im looking at one with 100000 mi, anything i should expect to go wrong?

  • @acquiesce1993 Interior lights and power accessories, the ABS, distributor (epecially in 93's and 94's), and air conditioning are the four main things that I saw as problems when I looked at six different fourth generation f bodies before buying this one.

  • 1 person drive a civic..

  • 110k??? damn nice for that many miles!

  • I have that same damn speedo in my 95 z28, Plus the 115mps or so computer locked top speed :( Heard that the ones with my speedo came from the factory with crap tires, so it had that speedo. Who knows, 2 options for the z28 that year?

  • @MrBadBricks In some of the previous comments and the video description there's more information about it. Yes, there were 2 options. Your car must have the correct tires and RPO code to match the speedometer.

  • this is the absolute only LT-1 camaro with a 115 mph speedo that I have EVER seen. nice car though but that speedo is for the v6 model.

  • @pearlexport32 Thanks, though some Z28's (7.4 percent) were fitted with this speedometer.

  • i am supposedly buying the v6 version of this car tomorrow. any pointers you can give me on things to check out or look at before i buy it?

  • Can you help me, I recently got a good deal on a 95 camaro, but its automatic, can i change it to be a manual, and how much would it cost? thanks!

  • @IronMaidenx69 Sorry, my automotive mechanical knowledge doesn't extend that far.

  • @IronMaidenx69 be better off buying a manual than the money and time youd put into swaping it

  • @IronMaidenx69

Depending which transmission you go to, for all the links and everything, for everything ur lookin at 2500 to 3,000 to do. Not cheap, but that includes labor too....if you do it urself,. subtract 500-800 off that price. Not cheap, better to buy with a 6speed (z28) or 5spd (3.8)

  • Nice car man!!!

  • i got mine in mystic teal also, same year model, i got borla exhaust on my 95 z28

  • Thats so clean haha i wish i could find a car like that for 3200!

  • i got the same car exceptmines a 94

  • i have a 1995 camaro but it has the 3.8 v6 in it, its my first car. and i have the delco bose in mine

  • i have a 1995 camaro but it has the 3.8 v6 in it, its my first car

  • "power seats" my ass they come with 1 power seat lol

  • @InstinctTOsurvive shit, better than no power seat.

  • @chevyfan1251992 i had a 95 but with mine was green

  • Ugly piece of shit. I hate this camaro style. 2003-2011 golden age for camaro. Why not buy one of those in stead of this sorry sack of dog shit. I dont give a fuck about the "rare" paint job it still looks shitty

  • @purplesupra That's great that you have your own opinion even though it's ignorant. What do you have that's so great? A purple toyota supra like your profile name? A supra the same year as this car would lose to this, jackass. The only reason ricers ever win is because of super/turbo chargers. You may have added a bunch of bullshit to it, but I can say that my car has enough power JUST STOCK. The best part is that they didn't make Camaros between 2003 and 2008 you stupid fuck.

  • the funny thing is in 1998 the v6 camaro came with 120mph speedos and thats higher than the z28s but the older models did have smaller engines soo....

  • My 95 Z28 has a 110 speedo too :-O

I thought I was the only one! What's the deal with that? it's also electronically limited to 115 mph

  • My speedometer goes to 150 on this same year??? Why??

  • how did you get your cold air intake to work? mine kept bogging out i couldnt figure it out so i took it off gave up

  • thought the base tire option for the 110 speedo Z's were all-season 215's...learn somethin' new everyday :)

    great lookin' car!

  • is that the stock exhaust?

  • @GeneralCracka Completely

  • i really like your car very rare paint job

  • i have the same car same year just green and i put a slp loudmouth exhaust on it and i t gave it about 30 horse and its really loud sounds really good too and its only $400 but you have to get the adaptor kit is $120 so around 550 but trust me man its WELL worth your money it'll put you at like 325 hp

  • @SAVON whats wrong with the color?

  • im trying to look for a 93-02 camaro

  • if you wasnt tryng to make it original then i would say get some 18 in black rims and put a pretty lil billett grille in the front and that z would look sick!

  • Love it ! sounds mean ! I have a 95 Z28 Lt1 6 speed manual dark green with tan all leather T-tops. I have a K&N cold air kit ! bored out 30 over on the pistons and a flowmaster muffler with 3" dual chrome tips. all that made my car Really bad ass ! fast as hell. Look on my page I have a video of it from a few years ago before we did the motor and all the mods. It has 125,000 miles and is super clean.

  • sweet ride, hope I can find one in the next darker shade of blue soon

  • Very nice car! It has transformed greatly over the years.

  • @360xi Transformed? lol but thanks

  • @chevyfan1251992 hahahaha yea I meant the design of the car. I mean just look at the new one, it looks like a completely new model.

  • the onley reason i dont like these 95's is that they look like pontiacs because of the way the back like pops out but its still a chevy so i still like them

  • thats a really clean car for a 95 and a good deal you got. you planing on doing any more mods?

  • @2129Bill A flowmaster cat-back exhaust is going to be put on around April, and MAYBE a MSD distributor in late 2011. I don't like mods for the most part, I'm trying to keep it original and work with what it already has. It's just that the exhaust on the car is rotted from rust and needs replacing anyways.

  • @chevyfan1251992

i woudln't go with flowmaster. sure it sounds good but performance wise is terrible

i would go with magnaflow or cherrybomb (not glass pack)

  • @VOAOURKZ Anything is better than the rusted stock system that's barely holding on lol

  • my 95 z28 say 120

  • @dezzygreer I've heard of those also, but I don't know what condition made them have them?

  • $3200 i would say thats a deal

  • you need exhaust bro

  • @rdm33rd Way ahead of you man. I'm installing Flowmaster's American Thunder Cat Back system (the one with 3 inch outlets for $522) this coming April, but I don't want to change anything else much.

  • @chevyfan1251992 I got a 2010

  • Why does the speedometer only go to 110?

  • @Tjtoxic69 That's what the factory P235 tires are rated at.

  • @chevyfan1251992 the z28s have a 150mph speedometer

  • @jdoggydog567. . . If they were ordered with P245 tires which almost all of them were. Except a select few, like this car.

  • @chevyfan1251992 oh, ive never heard of that, but thats interesting though

  • @jdoggydog567 not all of them show 150 bro

  • does it just suck down gas or is it not terrible?

  • @fptfootball07 with my commuting, I spend $45 in 2 weeks.

  • @fptfootball07 my 95 6 speed z28 gets about 28 mpg hwy and 25 city

  • if my camaro is a z28 im gonna shit bricks all i have seen of it were pictures with bad quality but it literally looks EXACTLY the same as this car ever single thing about it is the same

  • nice car man, how much you want for it? :p

  • i have this identical car same color and all but mine's not the z28, i got a way better deal tho. it was given to me free. paint job is not holding up as well so imma put it in the paint shop mon. black on bottom and hot pink on top with silver graphic on the side.

  • I got the same car, cept black.

  • thats prob the best combination of the 90's z28, with the t tops, v8, and the rare blue aint. great car, well worth 3200. does it still run ok? someone told me that these aren't reliable after 100 thousand miles, and im thinking about buying one

  • Mine runs fines and I drive it every week the weather is decent. Obviously be aware of the environment it comes from. The previous owner did not know about the rare options on this car so I got lucky!

  • @MrMagicman73 mine drives daily about 50 miles to my job and back and it had 250k miles on original motor. still running strong.. runs over any mustang/import around

  • @MrMagicman73 Its a chevy dude, it rill run forever if you treat it right lol.

  • @MrMagicman73 only thing you have to worry about on these engines is the dreadful optispark, and the water pump.

  • damn dude you got one helluva good deal there man for $3200 holey shit and what you should do for smell upgrade is one a set of chrome zr1 rims 9.5 front and 11's out back and a Borla exhaust(yeah its a little more)but it ill sound better and look better with that stainless tips and also you should check on the drivers side passenger down pipe to see if you got the second cat potion because if so that's worth 10 more hp(making your car have 285 hp)and tent your windows to but good deal man :)

  • I plan to keep it original, except for some restoration it needs.

  • @chevyfan1251992 oh so your not gonna do an aftermarket exhaust then?

  • I'm going to replace what I have because mine is rusted right now. I will only replace it GM issued systems.

  • I miss my Camaro :( for exhaust i suggest to check out the SLP loudmouth they sound bad ass, and also stroke her out to a 383 or give her a nice cam like a LT4 Hotcam

  • My plans are to keep in mainly original and preserve it through time.

  • I purchased a 1995 z28 with the exact same color, both interior and exterior.

    Only differences are:

    150 tachometer

6 speed manual - skip shift=worst idea ever

    original Bose/Delco CD player

You can get amazing bang for your buck with these 4th gens. I love mine to death....

But... it would be nice to put in 87 octane, but that's the price of having an engine with a 10.5:1 compression ratio....

  • It's definitly worth it. I don't know why the 150 wasn't order with my car during it's production. I've also put in the original Delco casset unit since this.

  • @chevyfan1251992 I just bought my 95 Z28 a week ago for 3500 with 95k miles sebring silver with ttops. stock except for K&N cold air and flowmaster exhaust. have a hypertech power programmer with it too. its always had seat covers too so the interior is extra mint. check it out on my page. mine still has the bose cd player it came with too. nice car you have bro.

  • i have a 94 camaro convertible its medium quasar blue it looks alot like that color just a little diff.. nice car man

  • Thanks, I haven't seen alot of pre-97 camaros in quasar, I bet yours it looks awesome.

  • I was just wondering cause i have never seen a z28 with a speedometer of 110 but i guess im wrong, i wasnt trying to piss u off i was just confused but i hope u et a new exhaust cause when u do it will sound mean!

  • Thanks, I appreciate it.

  • i got the same exact Z/28 color and all ...mean camaro. i will be removing the front tag holder. And i have the original monsoon cd deck from GM.

  • i hate to tell u thats not a true z28, thats a v6, speedometer only shows 110 not 150 and it doesnt sound like a v8

  • It's a Z28! I ran my car's vin # and RPO codes through a local GM/Goodwrench dealer's production info and everything checks out correctly! I have seen a few others with 110 and 120 speedometers. Please do some more research!

  • Also it doesn't help that at the time the stock exhaust had rusted a hole in itself preventing some sound from entering to the camera. Let me know if you want to see the STOCK LT1 under the hood. Trust me, I wouldn't want to be in possession of a 3.4

  • if its a v8 then y does it have the v6 speedometer because my z28 shows 150 not 110, just asking?

  • I've heard that GM put it 110, 120, and 150 speedometers in early forth generation Camaro's.

  • @chevyfan1251992 mine has 150 on the dash. my brother has a 93 with 150 on the dash. I was unaware they came with anything else. Guess I was wrong. Does that make it even more rare than one with a 150 speedometer?
