The story is this was Dusty Rhodes idea and Shockmaster was supposed to make a big entrance but David Crockett, who hated Dusty for ruining his brother's promotion, had a piece of wood put up where Shockmaster was supposed to come crashing through this making Dusty and Ottman look bad.
