I saw this movie when I was a kid and I loved it then and even today this movie still has the same effect on me......They just don't make movies like this anymore.
I first saw this film when I was 20. It has haunted me ever since. Very Fucking Strange Film. I don't want to meet Mr. Altman in a dark alley. Talk about creepy. Iam gettin goosebumpy right now just thinking about Sissy in this film...freakin weird.
this is one of my favorite movies..I have such a hard time trying to describe the plot to friends, it's just something you cant describe...it's almost a movie about nothing but with such brilliant characters..
Sissy is one of my top 3 favorite actresses for sure and she was great, but Shelley DUvall is also so underrated I rank her performance in this as one of hte best I've ever seen as an actress. She is HAUNTING in this movie.
Sissy Spacek was also amazing, I agree. I'd love for these two actresses to work together again. They have a bewitching chemistry, and it would be a cool way to get Ms. Duvall back into the spotlight since she hasn't been in anything since 2002!
She's one of my fav actresses too. I started liking her when I saw Carrie like last year and every since then iv'e been trying to find any and eveything with her in it. I just saw her movie Raggedy Man and it was awsome. If you havent seen it u should.
same here. i saw carrie a while a go and since then I was hooked. haha. yeah, I've seen Raggedy Man it's so good. It always puts me on the edge of my seat no matter how many times i watch it.
Agreed. Duvall is my favourite actress; highly underrated. This is probably her best performance, and in my opinion, Altman's best work. Completely enigmatic. Altman was a master.
