No one will steal your ideas, just put it up on youtube as "original song" and then make sure you write out that this is entirely your creation. Copyrighting does work anyway. People rip off songs all the time, but the rip offs blow so hard it's ridiculous. Everyone always loves the original and they'll know its yours.

no. i already have a guitarist. and the bass is more melodic on a bass you can jump around to make kickass basslines while the guitar is just doin the simple chord pattern with no variation. and dont you think it would be dumb to have a band with one good guitarist and one crappy guitarist that should be playing bass rather than a guitar and a bass?
