I am a Udel sophomore, and yes I attended this mob. I AM against the war in Iraq, and in no way do I believe America is a flawless country that has the right to impose it's own moral values and democracy onto others. I am against the crimes committed against civilians in wars. But I will always remember 9/11/01. And no matter what you say, I do not regret coming together with my fellow Udel students and celebrating the death of the Osama.

@sonnenlicht87 The WMDs were based off of viable information we received at the time, encouraged by numerous insider reports from Iraq that confirmed their existence. Furthermore, Saddam, in an attempt to feign strength, repeatedly refused to allow UN inspectors into his country. He had nothing to hide, but did not want to appear weak and did not want the world to know the truth about his lack of weapons. He brought the war and destruction upon himself.

And aside from that, America has one of the lowest tax rates in all of the West. Furthermore, waterboarding isn't torturing. No physical or psychological harm=not torture. Illegal searches? More like people not knowing their rights. For instance, if a cop asks to search your car, you can say no. A majority of people don't know this.

The bombing of innocent civilians is a sad collateral of war that is near impossible to avoid, especially when our enemies use their own people as human shields. War is kill or be killed. Shoot first and ask questions later. You don't have the balls or strength to join the military so you would never know, and if you did, I assume you wouldn't shoot at all, because that other guy may just be "misunderstood"

As a general or military strategist, try to eliminate and enemy presence that literally uses their own people as human shields, without any civilian casualties. Its just not possible. Every war won successfully by the United States involved civilian deaths. It is the only way an enemy can truly be defeated (look at World War II for a prime example), now more than ever.

I was proud to be there last night singing. The Newark Police arrested nobody and the Delaware News Journal (Delaware's largest paper) said no property damage has been reported.

Many of the people in this crowd grew up in the NY/NJ/CT area, myself included. Many of them and I knew people who died that day. We had a right to celebrate.

The world celebrated Hitler's death, why is this any different?
