Artem, I injured my arm and rotator cuff skiing a few years back. I didn't get it checked right away and re-injured it when I fell. The thing that has helped are light weights for the muscles involved. Check with a physical therapist for instructions. That's where I got the help. My arm has gotten a lot stronger and I have a lot less pain since using light barbells.

You need to do legs folk... Because they are a major key to bodybuilding & upper body dev. In fact it increases by far the Creatine ratio in your body.. Just saying.

Artem, you're a really nice guy with a preternaturally fit looking body. Shoulder sounds very frustrating but I agree, time to have a rest (of it) & work other parts. You shoulder is messed up probably you lift weights too heavy for your strength level... Happened to me once... lift weights according to your strength level...

Dude, sorry to hear about your messed up shoulder, that's totally tedious. But you have an amazing torso... your abs are stunning... do more vids like this, showing off your abs. Get a friend to punch your amazing six pack... show us some intense gut punching vids, that'd be awesome. We'd love to see just how strong your abs are. You could do that while your shoulder heals.

@neilgk If you spend a lot of time sitting on your butt at school, work in an office or do lots driving both hamstrings and the opposing muscles on front of legs (hip flexors) can get weak. Aside from normal warm up stretching before exercising you might find specific stretching helpful. One of my cousins has the problem and swears what this guy shows helps a lot. Just don't over stretch or you can injur your lower back.
Real sorry to hear about the shoulder. Last year I lost most of my senior year in high school sports to a hip injury. Make sure when you see the specialist that you leave with a good understanding of what you can/should or should not be doing. You should back off on all kinds of upper body work and wrestling type stuff. As the inflammation from the initial injury subsides things like running will be fine again. Really just make sure you listen to your doctor, not random youtube commenters.
No snow shoving either, but you probably don't get much in Texas. The good news is your young, strong so you'll recover fast, but for now just chill. I went through arthosopic surgery on my knee having over have the cartilage taken out years back. The MRI will show if they need to remove any cartilage that might have broken free and what might be causing the discomfort. If they say you need surgery get 2nd opinion, then get it done right away, waiting only make it worse. Good luck.
Perhaps he'll give you one or a series of Cortisone (a form of steorid) shots which helps reduce inflamation. If the MRI shows torn tendors, then depending on how severe they usually suggest arthoscopic surgey (tiny insision) to repair. If you had a more serious tear or seperation of a tendon where it attaches to the bone you likely would have intense pain and not be able to move your arm over your head. Any of the muscle rub cream might help with pain since they increase circulation.
ice it down every few hours for 15 minutes, some over the counter anti inflamatory med like Naproxen Sodium, doctor can write a prescription for muscle relaxers. This is sadly one of those things that takes a long time to heal(if tendontis) and you have to resist trying to get back into your routine until you are FULLY healed otherwise you will just make it worse.
The MRI perhaps also a CAT scan will show if any of the tendons are torn. The surgeon is the expert on this, a common injury

So-called "rotator cuff" is shorthand for four muscles that wrap around the humerus (upper arm bone) at scapula (shoulder blade), the muscles are teres minor, Infraspinatus, subscapularis, supraspinatu each having their own tendon. It might just be tendonitis (inflamation). If so, nothing needs to be done surgecially, just rest,

@neilgk If you spend a lot of time sitting on your butt at school, work in an office or do lots driving both hamstrings and the opposing muscles on front of legs (hip flexors) can get weak. Aside from normal warm up stretching before exercising you might find specific stretching helpful. One of my cousins has the problem and swears what this guy shows helps a lot. Just don't over stretch or you can injur your lower back.

Real sorry to hear about the shoulder. Last year I lost most of my senior year in high school sports to a hip injury. Make sure when you see the specialist that you leave with a good understanding of what you can/should or should not be doing. You should back off on all kinds of upper body work and wrestling type stuff. As the inflammation from the initial injury subsides things like running will be fine again. Really just make sure you listen to your doctor, not random youtube commenters.

No snow shoving either, but you probably don't get much in Texas. The good news is your young, strong so you'll recover fast, but for now just chill. I went through arthosopic surgery on my knee having over have the cartilage taken out years back. The MRI will show if they need to remove any cartilage that might have broken free and what might be causing the discomfort. If they say you need surgery get 2nd opinion, then get it done right away, waiting only make it worse. Good luck.

Perhaps he'll give you one or a series of Cortisone (a form of steorid) shots which helps reduce inflamation. If the MRI shows torn tendors, then depending on how severe they usually suggest arthoscopic surgey (tiny insision) to repair. If you had a more serious tear or seperation of a tendon where it attaches to the bone you likely would have intense pain and not be able to move your arm over your head. Any of the muscle rub cream might help with pain since they increase circulation.

ice it down every few hours for 15 minutes, some over the counter anti inflamatory med like Naproxen Sodium, doctor can write a prescription for muscle relaxers. This is sadly one of those things that takes a long time to heal(if tendontis) and you have to resist trying to get back into your routine until you are FULLY healed otherwise you will just make it worse.
The MRI perhaps also a CAT scan will show if any of the tendons are torn. The surgeon is the expert on this, a common injury

Artem, rotator cuff injuries are potentially serious. No weight training, no football, wrestling, nothing, no exercising period until you get the results of the MRI. So-called "rotator cuff" is shorthand for four muscles that wrap around the humerus (upper arm bone) at scapula (shoulder blade), the muscles are teres minor, Infraspinatus, subscapularis, supraspinatu each having their own tendon. It might just be tendonitis (inflamation). If so, nothing needs to be done surgecially, just rest,
