how do u plug in the the compressor and the krk monitors to the pc? im wondering because im gnna get exactly the same stuff and i want to know if i can just plug it in or if i have to buy a soundcard for my computer :P thanks

@oscarebest first you will need a recording interface and a selected DAW..the recording interface goes to your pc and speaker monitor/compressor goes to your recording interface hope that helps....

@krazyeknine57 i have ableton live if thats what u mean with DAW, the problem is that my pc doesnt have any ports where i can plug in the speakers and the compressor in, do i have to buy something like a souncard that has the right ports for the speakers and the compressor? :)

@oscarebest ableton live ok,all you need is recording interface which act like a soundcard usb or firewire but i recommend firewire interface...check out the presonus firestudio project  recording interface all the in and out ports are in there if you have anymore question dont hesitate to ask... im willing to help=) thanks

@AZFiyaSpitta I Agree with you 100%.. Im a rock musician and own my own home studio, and to me music is music, and it takes talent no matter what genre. I have done some recording for some of my friends that are rappers, and they are AWESOME. I started on making beats, and I must say, I was LOST...LOL. Im getting there, but to produce music or sing or play an instrument takes alot of talent. Best wishes to you.

I have to say, nice studio and I want to give you a tip, if you don't mind.

You have quite a range there that I think with some singing lessons you could get extremely good !!

Good potential is what I mean :) as a kick ass singer.. not many people can hit the high notes in that song, trust me.

increase the input gain on the mic so you don't get noise or artifacts when you turn it up. generally you want to keep the level bouncing around -3dB. hope that helps

its a behringer powerpaly pro which is a headphone amplifier and not a compressor,,im using a alesis 3630 compressor which is i used for vocals,,A compressor basically takes the audio dynamic range, and compresses it to a narrower dynamic range. this is often done to prevent clipping prior to sending signals into digital devices, or in the case of Radio, prior to transmitting the audio over the air.
