@MrTallica4lifegbrtdy Yeah, unfortunately the developers had their development and testing time cut down due to some reshuffling at 2K at the time, and that's why it came out incredibly buggy. For 2K10, they had a full development cycle, and it turned out to be pretty good. As much as a fan of The Show as I am, I actually prefer 2K10's pitching system, which is more novel and fun.

Yea the animations suck ass in this game >___< 2K10 is better in every way except the graphics. How do they keep getting worse! I don't get it. Although the faces are much better in 2k10, but still. I wish 2K had the realism of the Show, but 2K10 is funner to play, for me anyways. Not to mention the presentation is alot better.

You know, I would be fine with the phrase "down to the minor details" except for 1 MAJOR detail, the glitches in the game! I have seen balls pass through the bat, outfielders leap up the Big Green Monster, and baserunners cut from second to home and still be safe! Crappy game, cool commercial.

This game had amazing potential, but a few flaws made it a pain to play - horrible fielding, ads (didnt bother me to much though), pretty much all mocap was made from lincecum (some 3/4 pls would it really be that hard to put in a dussin minor leagers to mix the motions up), no online feature is really a big miss, controls for pc is a joke.The pickoff system is poorly made - you can pretty much pickoff anyone on 2nd base.

Hopefully most of these things will be fixed for the next realese (if it will be another one). But even with all these problems the games physics is simply the best there is. The ball is actually moving depending on rotation, speed etc. And in real-time speed,
