  • Easiest way to beat Heart of the Cards: The Drop-Off Trap.

  • I have watched yugioh and have read tons of fanfiction so I thought playing would be easy. I was completely wrong. The rules are so numerous and complicated that it is making my head spin, and to top it all off, I have no one to practice with! Grrrr.....

  • and by the way i'm a newb at this ...i don't know many girls play this but i wanna learn the from doing it......<3

  • where can i find this? I wanna play this on my own i don think listenig will help me a bit because im no that kind of a good listener...but i kinda get the subtracting part thing

  • can you skipp your battle face if your monster ant attack

  • @neodragonex yes, and even if your monster can attack you can choose not to attack.

  • @SuperFastsloth hey i use to play when i was 12 now i dont remember can i ask some questions to you?

  • haha, Joey's game was beginning to slip? He apparently forgot the entire game!

  • monstizz

  • @wong2008a hey buddy, if you are new i recomend you buy a structure deck, these are balanced decks with cards that work with each other very nicely. plus all structure decks come with a rule book. this rule book is pretty much as in depth as this video here. the rule book explains about card types, the icons on the cards, life points, chains ect. oh and a monster does not have life points. just attack and defense power. quick example = 1000 attack vs 600 atack = 400 damage to opponents life poin

  • part 3?!

  • first of all I'm new to yugioh so how do you know what property a spell/trap card is when you look at the icon? And how many life points do you start with? last question: How do you know the life points of a monster?

  • its stupid he said lv3 its level 3

  • is there a website to this or download this

  • Comment removed

    Yugi: WHAT?!

US: You know when you put 2 cards of the same level on top of each other to make a 3rd monster with the same amount of stars and then put that card on top of those 2 cards?

    Yugi:....WHAT?

US: you know like fusion or synchro summoning that fuses w/out polymerization?

    Yugi:......Fuck off liar!

  • @kage4567 Me: does he say that last line, or did he transformed into Yami yugi and did?

    LOL!

  • @AVTR346 whaaaaat?

  • Trust in the Heart of the cards = Dumb Luck.

  • @TheClerked dont you question the heart of the cards!

  • @TheClerked Trust in the Heart of the cards = Heartache

  • @TheClerked Sometimes dumb luck is the best way to win. Trust me.

  • "I hope I draw a good card:"-Joey

"Trust in the heart of the cards"-Yugi

yeah trusting in the heart is the 1st step in duel monsters 101 lol

  • what website do u go to, to play this game?

  • Wow. This card game is almost freakin educational the amount of maths you need in it!

  • Trust in the Heart of the Cards~

  • joey's disabled...?

  • Why did Joey even bother calcutlating that attack if he doesn't lose any points anyway?

  • can trap cards ever be set face up?

  • @LostheartDarkclan no o_o same with spells

  • @yaminaga so u have to waita turn before activating them?

  • what is the name of that site

  • My littlebrother thinks i cheat because i use my cards better than himXD

  • this makes perfect sense, unless you can't comprehend what their saying because their sentences are to well put together and you have the mind and understanding of a 6th grader. Focus on what their saying and break down the sentences and try to work it into your brain, it isn't that hard to understand. Unless you have a mind of a 3rd grader where you have to have everything explained to you word by word then that sucks, if you don't understand this you should crack open a book from time to time.

  • wat is the website for this

  • how did blue eyes white dragon get into the graveyard?

  • @coolchrisjk12 that one card the computer used to draw 3 cards and discard 2

  • im really not undertsanding this at all can u like gimmie a step by step instruction on how to play in general?

  • this barely covers the tip of the ice burg of dueling duelings is WAY more complicated ._. and once you duel with experienced people you'll think they're making stuff up along the way.

  • @rawrloler

I barley understood. can you make a better one?

  • @rawrloler Wait soo..if you know that, you're watching this video? Yeah..Wait why am I watching this video?

  • @rawrloler when this was made it was probably relavent to the game as it was back then, not today. now we have synchros and Xyz monsters

  • @Garrafreak001 i'm not talking about synchros or xyz i'm talking about rulings

  • "Dont forget about the Trap Card you Set on your first turn. You can activate TC that you set on previous turns even during the Battle Phase."

I thought the opponent's monster had to attack me in order for my TC to be activated. (?)

  • you thought wrong

  • @Marcello777

You can activate a trap card when ever you want, even your own turn, after the turn you set it on.

  • @Marcello777 you can alos activate trap cards during any other phase other than end or draw phase but not the same turn you set it. trap spells and monsters also have special bonus attack powerscalled spell speeds

  • Wait what? If you perform a special summon you can still normal summon or set another monster? I don't remember ever playing like that O.O... So say i have Monster Reborn, does this rule apply to this card as well? And also, is there a difference to Magic Cards and Spell Cards? And can i equip a Magic/Spell Card to my monster before i attack? Sorry for all the questions. Appreciate a reply :)

  • You are allowed only one Normal Summon or Set (Normal Summon is the same as Tribute Summon too) per turn, but you are allowed as many Special Summons as you are able to perform during any turn. Monsters that are summoned due to a card effect are almost always considered Special Summoned.

Magic cards are the same as Spell cards; Magic was replaced with Spell to avoid confusion with the TCG Magic: The Gathering.

You can only equip your monsters with Equip cards BEFORE the Battle Phase.

  • Okay that helped alot :D

Anyways, I wanna ask you one more question. What if I want to sacrifice a monster that is face down on my side of the field which has a flip effect. Do I flip the monster and activate it's effect at the same time the sacrifice is being done?

Or do i just sacrifice it without any flip effect being activated?

OR am I able to flip the monster on my Main Phase 1, do my Battle Phase, and then sacrifice the monster on my Main Phase 2?

Helps a lot if you reply.

    Thank's :D

  • You are allowed as many Flip Summons as possible that you can perform during your turn. You may Tribute a Monster during either Main Phase after its Flip Effect has been activated (after it's Flip Summoned), or you can Tribute the Monster without flipping it, but then you won't get the Effect.

  • Okayy!

Thanks man this helped me a lot.

  • no, u can equip them in your main phase 2, AFTER battle Phase

  • after special summon...you can summon or set another monster...and after using monster reborn...you can summon another monster from your hand....

  • This comment did not help at all man sorry -.-

Try making more sense and try being more detailed. Also, i already got a good detailed reply from kaibadragon999 so thanks anyways for trying to help me.

Also again, Try using less of these, "...".

    Thanks :)

  • ooo...ok

  • wat dat game call thanks
