  • It's cool for valuable but really not practical for keeping guns. Mattresses weigh a ton (+ pillows, comforters, whatever else may be on the bed at the moment) and I'd probably find it annoying to move the mattress over to access the safe. And if I need something from the other side I'd have to walk around to the other side and push it over after I close the door on the first side. And if someone intrudes, im not pushing waking my wife and pushing her off before I push the mattress in the dark.

  • FUCKING PSIKOS

  • So how much research did it take you guys to push over a safe and put a mattress on it?

  • @aluisious That'd be great if the safe door wouldn't amputate your arm when it slipped. That's why this bed bunker safe incorporates that special door you see in the video. The construction of regular safes would also make it difficult to stop from slamming all the way open as you'll notice they hinge differently. Maybe you haven't taken a good look at gun safes.

  • @ihatethewordblog These safes have a hydrolic arm that doesnt allow it to open fast enough to slam it open and holds the door open so it cannot slip and amputate your arm. :-)

  • awesome..
