I really hope the revival works well enough for them to consider doing a tour of it. I can't head to NYC to see it, but I really want to. if it came to Boston, I'd be the happiest person on earth.
I especially like adding material for the boys, but I do miss the gym teacher, especially her "burn burn burn, burn it off or you turn off the boys." Original communicated the metaphor of fire = sexual desire and hellfire. If they kept the gym class as part of long opening number, then at the end freeze and blackout with a spot picking out Carrie at the side of the stage, fully dressed in frumpy skirt and saddle shoes? I think something like that could work.
Am I the only one dissapointed with the "Dream On" cut?
