as a matter of fact the literary treasures of our country "Ibong adarna, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo" have mentioned that these fighting arts were presented in a form of a dance following the order of Spaniards that forbids the practice of any martial arts" so wen it comes to uniform, modern adaptation may be common but even so, it doesn't taint the originality of the mentioned art. thank you.
i agree with rhyeszenken101. in reality there is no official martial art uniform in any of the Philippine fighting arts this is because the martial arts in our country where basically imparted in secret not in schools. with exception of course to recently emerging systems that intentionally established their teaching intention for economic reason. formerly Filipinos practice their arts using their farming clothing since the Spanish time.
yup, they are not tkd at all. they claim that they are SIKARAN but using tkd uniforms, how embarrasing. SIKARAN is a ancient Filipino martials arts that can compete in all other martials that throw punches and kicks eventhough SIKARAN use only FOOT for fighting. we hate people mixing SIKARAN title in any other martial arts style. it seems they're clueless about the true SIKARAN FIGHTER can capable of and the true meaning of SIKARAN itself. our uniforms patented from the rice farmers outfit.
