I love the fuck out of Mad Conductor, and No Cash is my favorite band, I love the fuck out of this song, I completely understand WTF Chris is talking about here. All Crack Rock Steady is based of Choking Victim, Choking Victim are the biggest hypocrites ever, and they fucking know it. I think No Cash was a little less, but no matter if you take a punk stance you're gonna be a hypocrite. It pretty much comes with it.

Not only that but they are/were extremely apathetic towards the political causes meaning they pretty much don't do anything about it other than play music. While that's all good it would be nice if they actually did more than that and not just play shows for money.

You can totally be against the system while still living within it. Just like you can be anti-war if you're a soldier. The system forces us to use money, and that sucks but it's what has to happen at the moment. You can, however, believe in a society without money being a better one. Also, other systems use money too, so using money doesn't neccesarily tie you to "the system" (assuming you mean the capitalist system).

Its easy to get disenfranchised with punk rock, because like it or not, punks are generally normal people, a microcosm of society, if you will, and they're not protected by some kind of bullshit shield that stops any lies from influencing them. Even if what they hear isn't lies it's still easy for them to 'swallow it' , and It becomes the same as everything else, a fashion and a commercial subculture. I don't know the guy, but I doubt MC Devlin HATES punk rock, he WAS in No-Cash, remember?

I. But that's another argument... I don't know Chris personally. I originally couldn't stand some of the shit I heard on Chris and so I confronted him on his Myspace. After arguing for a while we met an understanding and I understand now where he comes from when he shuns his own band. Besides, Chris' band was in the ska punk deal and No Cash always felt like it had more Wu Tang than Crack Rock Steady.
