  • you think that's bad, imagine hell

  • Wasn't turned up to 11 though was it !!!

  • @kharndog I'd love to watch you tolerate this for a solid minute. You obviously don't know anything about the technology involved in ADS.

  • They're probably going to use this kind of technology for integrating people, seeing as it (allegedly) doesn't leave any lasting tissue damage, and yet is still very painful...

  • Its possible to do this with an ordinary microwave oven if you know what you are doing. It was demonstrated on TV here in England, in a quarry against a bunch of balloons. The casing was removed and the microwave emitter was tinkered with. It was only plugged into AC 240 volt mains. I think the program was How Do They Do That. Aired around summer 2009

  • i dont see y we didnt use this in war ITS AWESOME

  • @deanatr0n doesnt protect as it wouldnt with nuclear "light" etc...

use a pocket device a la port sickago eh phalladelphia instead ;)

  • Even if it would be used on crowds, the effect wouldn't be any different from breaking it up with riot police at the present time. In fact, it would be better, because it reduces the police presence and the chance of someone getting shot by mistake.

I just cant wait until the civilian models come out ^.^

Though the "De-clothificator Ray" is more tempting to me, personally ^.^

  • :39 "Just Keep the Crowd back please" Why ask when you have a painray?

  • You sound one of those jews or born again evangelist christians, crawling up jewish asses, that is unable to argue and therefore attack others personally.

I have compassion for your pitty.

  • @freemanbrook You are a money debt slave for the Central Bank of your country, which is privately owned, and you pay most of your tax money on interest, tax which the politicians and corporations, the rich people, are not paying.

The money, the banks gather, is using to buy up the land and state owned companies like Brigdes, Railroad Companies, Telecummuniaction...., other banks... and if one Company or bank fails, owned by the International Bankers, they are bailed out with billions...

  • @freemanbrook Because if soceity doesn´t accept it, it would fall appart. Therefore the speps are wisely choosen and spread over long centuries. If the steps are just small enough that some people are angry about the destruction of liberty, but the most doesn´t care, because the change just sting a little bit, than at the end the people doesn´t even realize that they are nothing more than slaves, with a concessiones of less than an animal and totally forgot how it is to be free.

  • Somehow it smells more and more like a upcoming military dictarorship coming up in the us, with the jews and their Federal Reserve controlling it of course!

  • @whatthehell81 not the jews, but the repilians!!!!111111oneoneoneeleven

  • Lol everyone loses

  • rawdog's a douche.

  • Cancer ray wudd i call it (:

  • @FreddyThaNightmare

    i human microwaves

  • Now he knows, what vampires feel when they are hit by sun light.Exclude the gay Edward and hes sparky brotherhood off course!

  • They've had this for a while, it's microwaves...heats up the moisture in your skin

  • the death ray has come true! star wars was right

  • police will love this

  • My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND, which is the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. Markus Bott was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well.

    Martin Bott

  • definately

  • FUCKIN' MUSLIMS.

    THEY TOOK ER JERBS!

  • DERKEDERRRRRRR

  • This is, without question, a lot better than rubber bullets, dogs, and tear gas....

  • Are you MAD ?

They aint going to get rid of rubber bullets, dogs or tear gas !

This is an extra along with all the other shit they have and they intend to use it on us the sheeple. No more protests is on it's way and that means your freedoms are slipping further and further away. This weapon is designed just to stop you protesting what your governments do.

  • We never even had our freedoms, dude. It's just an illusion made with the ideas of rights - which are of course, imaginary..

  • not as fun :'/

  • @Meltedface1 lol you don't know shit.

  • I love you internet peoples. "Government is evil!" "Down with government!" "I revolt by posting crap on the internet!"

  • There is so much stupid in this comment section, it's sickening. I bet you all think this is some super Nazi Jew conspiracy to kill us all.

    Pathetic.

  • No Eevery thinking person realizes this will most likely be used on anyone who criticizes the government in the future. You people that defend any totalitarian garbage that comes out make me sick, you would defend the government no matter what they do, even if they tried to harm your own grandparents you would be there trying to justify it, that's how brainwashed you are.

  • How dare you common class plebian citizins criticize this wonderfull tool of the all knowing loving governments of the world. You must remain silent and obey! lol

  • You're confusing peaceful protest (which the Westboro Baptist Church does) with rioting (which is like throwing 2x4s at a moving vehicle). Rioting is also when you are causing mass panic and creating violence. Peaceful protest is going on the sidewalk, with signs and megaphones yelling whatever you believe. Plus I think this is better than rubber bullets (that can kill or seriously maim), pepper spray (which can sting days later), paintball (like rubber bullets), dogs, guns, or water pressure.

  • Comment removed

  • This is the type of weapon that Targeted Individuals have been talking about for years. Men, women, children, have been saying these types of devices are getting tested on them in their homes, and they have trouble proving it. These have to be tested out somewhere right? There are a lot of shrills that will tell you that these will just be used for riot control, but it will be used for anything the state wants it to be used for, and they will be abused. Look up the term Gang Stalking.

  • "Peaceful protest" Not violating noise ordinances. Not harassing or impeding citizens on their lawful way. Obviously not harming anyone.

I have seen some peaceful protests. People with placards calling attention to their cause circling a block. But not impeding others or harrassing them. Willing to stop & talk to you if you ask what they are on about.

Had no problem with them. Felt they were kind of silly, but harmless.

  • It is for RIOT control. Read the definition of riot if you missed it. A peaceful protest is not a riot. Riots are where people are hurt & property damage is committed.

Then the ADS would be perfect. Unless you would prefer the traditional methods of batons, tear gas, dogs, water cannons, rubber bullets & tasers.

    So your bullshit is called.

  • I appreciate your argument, but I think that it's a pretty massive assumption to suggest that this sort of thing wouldn't also be used on peaceful protests. Police forces round the world have a nasty habit of of attacking peaceful protests and then saying that there was a riot or the possibility of a riot afterwards. This is exactly what happened to three friends of mine at a pre-arranged, non-disruptive and utterly peaceful protest at Liverpool Street on Wednesday.

  • "massive assumption to suggest that this sort of thing wouldn't also be used on peaceful protests" If they ever do, you can count on me standing right next to you, armed & ready to fight.

  • @OrsinoTheDrunk Well it sucks that happened. But I think I'd rather be shot with this then tear gassed to tazed.

  • @Mixer808 Fair enough, I agree with that. But why is it necessary for any of them to happen? Why are we in a position where we're chosing which of the three brutalities we'd rather have done to us by people employed, at least on paper, in order to look after our interests?

  • @OrsinoTheDrunk Ahh clue in folks Use against CITIZENS is precisely the design function of this weapon. I have no doubt I could withstand this "pain ray" long enough to aim and fire a rifle at the emitter and I am no soldier.

this was DESIGNED to be used against citizens. that is its design function since it would be damned near useless against soldiers.

  • @nerys71 wtf, you're speaking as if soldiers are some kind of superhuman. From when I was a civilian to now as a soldier I have undergone no physiological transformation. If you get hit on the knee you kick with your leg, if you burn your hand on hot oil in a frying pan you go ouch and recoil. Its an inbuilt mechanism of our bodies.

  • @kharndog superhuman no trained yes.

I know when I "KNOW" pain is coming I can tolerate it. I can suppress my normal "reaction" and "deal with it" when you touch an iron or hot oil its "unexpected" you just reaction.

When you know the pain is coming you can suppress this reaction. Logically soldiers would be more capable of this. (assuming the pain is truly minor such as this pain ray IE you know it won't kill you)

  • to ccr5cxcr4

I saw this exact same comment on some another ADS video, word for word.

So your bullshit is called, you unoriginal, copypasta making bastard!

    What a sheep! Seriously.

  • The beautiful thing about the truth? It doesn't change.

It is for RIOT control.

  • He probably got 5% power. This is how peaceful demontrations, logging protests and riots will be dismantled...soon.

  • imagine that they can torture you without leaving a visible mark

  • "logging protests and riots will be dismantled...soon" Hey great when can I get one?

  • why the hell are these people clapping???

  • This is a real Active Denial Of Rights! Coming to a town near you in 2009!

  • I'm sure it'd melt your eyeballs if it was turned up to full power.

  • No its constructed to not be able to concentrate enough heat to your eyes before you can close your eyes.

  • he never wanted kids anyway

  • A normal gun can be used to "mass evil" to,, this isn't scary, it's just like a cool version of the "watergun" used on Protestants.

  • Wow what a disgusting weapon.... could be used for mass evil. I think it's very scary.

  • its a microwave weapon, just shield yourself with microwave screen or pieces of metal, duh. everything has two uses for good or evil lol

  • It's not a microwave weapon, it's a millimetre wave weapon, there's a big difference. They tested it on people wearing suits of aluminium foil and utilising various other potential defence mechanisms, and it still had the desired effect.

  • well i saw a video that shown differently than what you are saying with a reporter guy shielding himself, but i will not say the video i saw, i will let you find it, it is on youtube.

  • I was there on the day this video was taken and experienced the "Pain Ray" for myself. Before you ask, I was responsible for planning and researching the shoot for a segment on the show FutureWeapons. They've tested the device on thousands and thousands of people in a range of scenarios, including testing on soldiers that were drunk to see if there were any negative long term side effects, which there were none.

  • well the reporter was using materials that would absorb the rays like "rf armor", thats all im saying.. thats awesome that your a producer for the future weapons show!, and thats awesome that you got to get hit by the rays! its really interesting to be able to go to places like this to see top secret technology!! u must be rich then lol! well have a good day.

  • none? if these devices, like tasers have, end up being misused there could be major side effects. People who have been tortured with tasers develop extreme fear of the weapon.

are you trying to state you witnessed an attempt at "over use"?

  • LOL

  • leadbiscuit - Yeah I agree. So much better to break up riots with machine guns!

  • He probably just got cancer, or some other incurable disease. This reminds me of 1940's nuclear bomb tests in the Nevada desert. Almost all of those soldiers died of cancer. Lets test these weapons on the Bohemian Grove crowd. That way, the only possible outcome would be a good outcome.

  • It's microwaves, non ionizing radiation. The light your reading coming from this screen is of a higher frequency.

Not that microwaves can't be dangerous, having your internal water heated to near boiling for extended periods of time can't be exactly good, but that is the idea. The pain is to make you run away.

It is still less detrimental to your health then say . . .bullets, mayhap?

  • Near boiling? lol 55ºC isn't anything near the boiling point.

  • It is nearer to boiling then it is to freezing. ;)

    But your right, my mistake.

  • no prob ;-)

  • People have the right to demonstrate peacefully. When they cross the line to violence and property destruction, then they are violating OUR rights. If you surround my car, and cause me to fear for my life, I can guarantee you that you will get shot. And not with a Taser.

The ADS gives a very low risk means of breaking up a riot. Safer than water cannons, dogs, batons, rubber bullets, CS gas, smoke, flashbangs, etc.

  • What a pompous cunt.

  • ladloanedleast - Oh stupidity always gets my attention. So you have it. And btw, I am not a pharmacist. I am an internal medicine doc, and my research centers on pain control. Hence conotoxin.

But you still haven't addressed your claims, that firing a gun requires "hard and deep thought." I am wondering what is the mechanism of that requirement. Do tell us.

Oh, I get it. Just more bullshit from the ignorant.

  • When someone says to shoot protestors with a .50, I don't think Disney Land. if you wouldn't think hard and deep before pulling the trigger of a gun when there is an unarmed person on the other side of the barrel, I don't need to answer your question. I've lived all over world and your attitude more reflects that of that communist countries I've visited rather than someone supposed to enjoy liberty.

  • Medicine doctor or not, if you support shooting an unarmed person to death, your the jackass.

  • Yeah... it's mighty "funny", isn't it.

But it's somehow not as funny when you're trying to resist being herded into a "detention" camp for mass genocide, is it.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Laugh it up... while you still can.

  • well of course this is only made in a stun setting. I mean why in the world would they possibly make it lethal? Our military doesn't kill people. I mean, c'mon. It's better than guns and dogs...

    hmmm, no...wait a minute.

  • no they wont make it lethal yet.

they just whant to warn us. no revolution or else we put full power get it?

i dont understand how can army be so blind into accepting orders from criminals govt.

if govt goes down so is army. unless they realize their govt is asking them to shoot at americans. those who they are supposed to protect. im sure there is something preparing it self in millitary. like at the last minute they will turn against our leader and fight for us. theres always hope.

  • that's what the training and bootcamp are for. break em down then build em up to obedient killing machines expendable just as such.

  • Highly effective, unless the tire goes flat and the aim gets obscued! Or something else happens and there are ways it could, just think about it! Made just for us the thought criminals!

They should have stuck with just making popcorn pop!

  • i'm feeling naughty at the moment

  • People have the right to demonstrate peacefully. When they cross the line to violence and property destruction, then they are violating OUR rights. If you surround my car, and cause me to fear for my life, I can guarantee you that you will get shot. And not with a Taser.

The ADS gives a very low risk means of breaking up a riot. Safer than water cannons, dogs, batons, rubber bullets, CS gas, smoke, flashbangs, etc.

  • They won't be violating my rights when it all kicks off. And by the sounds of things, you won't have a chance to pull your piece. I don't like the ADS because of the ick factor. It's like porn. There's no shortage of people out there supporting it, but in our guts we know it's wrong. I guess you could say you're a kind of pain porn merchant. Maybe a sadist like the other guy said. And that will bite you in the ass too one day

  • ladloanedleast - So you would rather the police use traditional methods for putting down riots? Guns, tear gas, batons, water cannons, rubber bullets? All of which are more dangerous.

It just so happens that HONESTLY, I think that as soon as rioters hurt the first innocent civilian, or cop, then they should haul out the 50 cal machine guns and put an end to it.

  • Well my bullshit comments as you put them are certainly getting your attention. Hell of a bedside manner you have there for a pharmacist. Better lay off those psychotrpics the drug companies give you or maybe you better put down the whiskey before you get on the internet. And a pharmacist is not a doctor by the way. I guess I just hope you are not a doctor because if doctors can be this stupid then America really is doomed from the inside out.

  • As usual, the conspiracists misrepresent the truth. 1) tasers are less lethal. Not non-lethal. 2) in the famous tasing incident you are mentioning, the man in question interrupted a forum. He was asked to leave, and when he failed to do so he was guilty of trespassing. Then he resisted police. He was repeatedly warned to stop, and chose instead to continue resisting.

Then he was tased. A well deserved tasing I must say. Personally though I would prefer they use dogs and billy clubs.

  • you're right i'd rather have a dog bite me in the ass than get electrocuted

  • Who said anything about electrocution? crisco5 is a perfect example of why uneducated people shouldn't comment.

Please define electrocution. Electrocution is DEATH by electric shock, which is extremely rare in the use of tasers and in every case I could find was linked with an underlying medical problem, drug useage, etc.

As for preferring the dogs. Whatever, so long as criminals are put down fast and hard.

  • It wasn't rare to the guy in New York last week who was tased buy over zealous cops like you. A mentally handicapped person no less.

  • Who did you hear that from, your mother's best friend's second cousin by marriage once removed?

  • Ever heard of Google Mr. Walgreens? New York Police Tazer. That ought to bring it up. links aren't allowed in these comment boxes. Take your head out of your you know what.

  • ladloanedleast - "because of the ick factor."

Sounds like an intelligent well reasoned argument... nevermind it is safer than the other methods available for riot control. Wouldn't want you to be bothered with facts.

"but in our guts we know it's wrong." SO you would rather the cops or national guard use guns & dogs. Actually, I know in my gut that -you- are wrong.

    Now grow up.

  • Looks like you're in a majority of one doctor Kevorkian. If you're itching to use that .50 cal you might want to head over to Afghanistan and join the Taleban. I hear they're looking for A Few Good Nutcases. I see your point about efficiency. Hitler used one bullet to kill up to four prisoners at a time. Obviously you're lacking that part of the brain responsible for critical thinking. You don't see how one thing leads onto the next. Your bitterness would have made a terrific NAZI.

  • ladloanedleast - Ah yes, the debate technique of the ignorant and the small minded. When you cannot win an argument with logic, and have no facts to back up your claims, call the other person a nazi.

Sad little man. Ah well. It is ok. I am still a doc, and will still be one of the men with real influence in the country. And you will still be sad and angry and looking over your shoulder.

    Have fun!

  • That's scary. You must be a cop. A gun requires that a person think hard and deep before firing it and it may cause some hesitation in someone who has sympathy. Pressing a button and microwaving some guy standing 500 ft away requires no judgement whatsoever. In fact, one can see the guy smiling in the damn cab. The founding fathers would be disgusted at your attitude. I suspect the perpetrators of the Boston Tea Part deserved to be hanged as well? Go move to Venezuela you sadistic fuck

  • "You must be a cop" No, I am a doctor.

"A gun requires that a person think hard and deep before firing" What kind of gun are you talking about? Mine doesn't have a "hard and deep" thought switch on it. It has a beavertail safety and a trigger safety. Firing it requires grasping the gun and squeezing the trigger.

Oh, and when you are done bullshitting on topics about which you obviously know nothing, you can go get an education.

  • No, YOU don't have a 'hard and deep' switch because you don't think past your fucking nose. No way you can be a doctor, you're lying. It's you that needs to get an education mate, and that about history. Shame they didn't have ADS back in 1775. All those peaceful protestors could have been spared and the British could have just gone after the real Terrorists who committed the Boston Tea Party. Yep, easy to see what side you would have been on. You're life is an ACTIVE DENIAL SYSTEM mate lol

  • ladloanedleast - I think your problems are supratentorial. So what model of gun are you talking about that has a "hard and deep thought" safety? Really. Point one out! I would be VERY interested.

I mean you say that people MUST think hard and deep before they use a gun. That is just an idiotic lie.

And since you are just making bullshit up, we know that your comments are worthless. Bye now.

  • Deanosan75 - Is it illegal to drive with broken tail-lights? What conceivable reason could there be for that? Safety perhaps?

It is obvious you feel that laws shouldn't apply to you. Just like the little whiners who fight police & then complain about being tased.

    Cry me a river.

The ADS would be a great way to break up riots with minimums of casualties.

But hey, if you would rather us return to the days of batons, water cannons and dogs, then by all means!

  • I like -=RIOT=-

but with this shit its not that fun ;)

  • mellowmaromi1 - Wrong. People have the right to demonstrate peacefully.

  • Everybody loved the 'non-lethal' TASER when it came out. But look what happens when you ask a politician the wrong question on a University campus...don't tase me bro...

  • As usual, people like you are the REAL misrepresenters because you can't get out of your little tunnel to see the bigger picture and see this is not about conspiracy stuff. You remind me of a crew-cutted cop who likes to pull people over for busted tail lights because he 'smells something suspicious.' You better get your shit together because pressing times are coming and you'd better decide whether it's your country or your misplaced pride.

  • would a tin foil shield help? o.o

  • Just happy to be tazed , yehaa.

  • what if they just brought mirrors?

  • They "pain" would be reflected. Its just light.

  • "You know you gota get out of the way."

Unless you're on PCP. Then you won't know they're going to fry your dumbass alive.

  • FINALLY A VIDEO THAT RE-ASSURES ME THAT SOMETHING IS BEING DEVELOPED TO STOP OLD PEOPLE FROM RIOTING

I can sleep easy now :)

  • that thing could sterilize a city or country. male and female wait till everyone dies off and take over.

  • InsaneJim - As long as they start with you! We need a higher average IQ.

  • I ment that in speaking of what the gov uses it for.

  • imagine the poor guy tied to a tree that they decide to melt with this thing for fun.

  • OBVIOUSLY, if people start a major riot, then it is preferable to use not-quite-lethal weapons.

On the other hand, I am aware of staged provocations. Seattle riots was one case. Black bloc looking 'anarchists' were housed in city-owned property, and were permitted (encouraged?) to cause mayhem. On Day Two, military sent out and peaceful sign-carrying anti-NAFTA activists were punished and imprisoned. Alex Jones collected footage from TV news and citizens' testimony, including injured elderly.

  • have you heard about the Police provocateurs at Montebello ? search that on youtube for a jawdrop.

  • People have the right to riot, it's the only thing that creates real change.

  • mellowmaromi1 - Wrong. People have the right to demonstrate peacefully.

  • When they declare martial law and restrict the rights of everyone, Fuck peaceful demonstrations. Upheaval creates change, not happy protesters. And fuck private property, it's theft.

  • mellowmaromi1 - "And fuck private property, it's theft." Fine. Give me all your money and your computer. Now.

Oh.. and you didn't score very well on the reading comprehension part of the SAT did you?

But hey, feel free to come riot on my lawn. I will feel free to take that as a threat to my property and life. And I won't be using an ADS on you. It will be a combination of shotgun, rifle and handgun.

And the world will be a better place when you are gone.

  • People don't riot when they're not being oppressed. You know, people like you would let the gov. torture babies if you felt it was in the national interest. Admit it. I bet that if the gov. demanded your teenage daughter to be sacrificed for a better harvest you'd submit to them, to power you obey so assiduously. Are you a spinless boot-licker who'll allow the gov. to do anything to others as long as they keep YOU safe. Confess! You're one of the sheeple. Admit it, confess or be tazered!

  • reddwarfski - Yes, you keep believing that. Apparently every criminal in the US had a damn good reason for raping, killing, arson, etc. They were oppressed!

Well the fact is that most Americans (you know, the mature ones). React to oppression by learning to overcome. My family is American Indian. We were oppressed 100 years ago. Today we are lawyers, doctors, teachers, engineers. Because we overcame the oppression and stereotypes. NOT by harming others, but by winning respect.

  • People who riot (disorganized groups lashing out in a sudden and intense rash of violence vandalism) are nothing more than herd beasts. Criminals.

And the rest of law abiding society deserves protection against them.

The ADS is a remarkably gentle form of riot control. No deaths, no permanent injury.

Personally, I believe that riots such as the LA riots should be met with nothing less than deadly force. They were killing people, they should be met with shotguns and machine guns.

  • How DISTURBING.

  • How so? It doesn't look like there are any after effects like there are with many current forms of riot control.

  • Take a look at the toys "they" are buying with "defense" money - w w w gizmag . com (click on military)

"Happy birthday to DARPA: Splinternet debuts Dirty Bomb detector network; Raytheon tests bunker-busting Tandem Warhead System

    The unstoppable back-packable 6x6 Spyrobot

NASA's "instant" Wireless Video Surveillance System"

It's a fantastic resource site! Ex:

"Dynamic Constructions is set to commence soon on building Dubai's wind-powered rotating skyscraper"

  • There is a fascinating story by Jamie Glazov in FrontPage Magazine where he interviews Dave Gaubatz about this device. Basically, this video is highly misleading. On its lowest setting, it works this way. But crank it up a few notches and it's capable of instantly killing large numbers of people (which is the devices true purpose).

Our military has finally invented the death ray. Why this isn't immediately deployed in Iraq is anyone's guess.

  • Bonecrkr, very good point!

Let's look a bit further into this.

  • Bonecrkr, your point is a good one. The AP reporter participating in getting a "zap."

    Looked harmless, yet effective-wonderful.

Crank it up a few notches and it's no longer harmless, in fact, deadly. The reporter, Elliott Minor-a bit of research about him may or may not be relevant-you decide.

According to public filings, he holds stock in a publicly-owned business which has a relationship with defense. The company is Packeteer Inc (PKTR 6.18) and it's doing relatively well, I'd say.

  • SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

Defense, defense, defense...a big black hole!

Paper money trails everywhere-the successful ones are usually related to the military, hmmmm!

  • Pakistan tests long-range Hatf-VI ballistic missile - Islamabad-April 19, 2008

Pakistan successfully test fired a long-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missile on Saturday, in the first missile test carried out under a new government which assumed office last month.

The missile Hatf-VI (Shaheen-2) has a range of 2000 kilometers (1,200 miles) and can carry both nuclear and conventional warheads.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani watched the test of the surface."

  • I love that the first effective, non-lethal weapon that might actually get use after many years of the Pentagon's hesitation to use anything non-lethal (was developed pre-2001 sometime) , is drawing so much hatred from carebear hippies on YouTube. You just can't win. What a waste of money; stick with lethal weapons. At least people won't have something new to bitch about.

  • The problem is this will not be used in any oversea's war it will be used on US, THE AMERICAN CITIZEN! why do you think they're trying to say it's non lethal.

  • As a "peaceful" protester or rioter, would you rather be shot by a heat-ray or an M-4 assault rifle? (were the crowd to become violent and dangerous)

I know which one I would choose, not that I join riots.

  • Answer me this.. Would you trust any common "Joe" with one of these? If the answer is no, then you are a fool to trust your govt. with one.

  • Nonlethal weapons are scary because they can be easily abused. The cops don't want to deal with some protesters? They just zap them with a pain ray until they go away. No lasting harm done so no one can bitch about anything except their cause going unheard. And if they bitch too loudly, well, zap them again.

It's much like a slave whip in terms of what it can be used for.

  • Anything can be abused. Drugs and alcohol are abused and actually kill people.

And breaking up a group of angry protesters is hardly comparable to forced slave labor.

One last thing: Why do some people always judge a thing by its potential to be used wrong? An individual has the potential to harm your family. How can you have friends? A viral cure to cancer might be used as a bio-weapon platform to kill millions. Should it be used to cure cancer?

  • Go stick your head in a microwave oven and tell me afterwards that it wasn't lethal!

take the cathode ray tube out of an old microwave plug it in and point it at yourself and tell me it wasn't lethal, its the same concept people, wake the fuck up IT'S COOKING YOUR FLESH!!!

  • You posted that on another video about the Active Denial System

  • As someone who would rather see less than lethal weaponry replace lethal weapons for self-defense, I applaud the technology and await the scaled down version for the consumer.

  • HORRIBLE,EVIL.

  • While everyone oooo's and ahhhhh's at this weapon dont be fooled they made this while experimenting making something bigger that can blow satelites and missles out of the sky, this is just a baby version, they have terra watt and mega watt versions. You really dont want to know what they really have. the scary version is they use it on americans during a peaceful protest, while exciseing your civil rights, remember this and in the future say Damn that lunatic was right

  • good thing the church of scientology doesnt have one of those

  • LOL well said...

  • Just like the guys are doing...keep moving and it can't hurt you. Also you could short it out using a metal window screen. Thanks for wasting my tax

  • it's a cancer gun

  • It emits microwaves that pierce 1/64 of an inch into the human body. This doesn't even compare to to an x-ray at the dentist's office. People can get sunburns worse than this.

  • A great advance in non-lethal technology. But it won't be long until some wusses in the media bring this down as being inhumane.

  • The Denver police claim that they may be purchasing one for crowd control at the Democratic National Convention, but I think they're just saying that to scare people away who are planning to show up and demonstrate. They could have a major multi-million dollar class-action lawsuit on their hands if they used it in a protest situation on American soil.

  • New costume for rioters: Reflective tin foil suits.

  • That would be a HORRIBLE idea. Ever see what happens to tin-foil when you put it in the microwave? What we need are suits made of that mesh stuff you see in the windows of microwave ovens.

  • Damn, I'd be worried about that thing giving me cancer.

  • There is a battlefield version of this weapon being used in Iraq. It fries its targets down to half their size. Search "star wars in Iraq" on YouTube.

  • this is what happens when we protest outside of the "freespeech zones" what a fucking nightmare coming our way, it's already here.

  • I'd imagine its just intense microwaves. Which is very dangerous

  • imagine strapping terrorists to chairs and letting them sit in hours of this stuff until they crack and spill the beans lol

  • I don't know, I think they would pretty much give in after 30 seconds of it...

  • This is really exciting, finally the govt. will have an easy way to control unwanted activities from a distance.

  • yeah? who's going to decide whats an "unwanted activity"?? or an unwanted person or ethnic group..... just another way to abuse power if you ask me

  • Thats up to our beloved civil rights removing government

  • My only concern is what happens to an individual when they are trapped and have nowhere to run. If that beam is fixated on that individual isnt that considered torture? What would happen to the person without the person being able to run away? Brain damage, passout, die, long term damages? The police already obtain these, how long before they abuse it like they do the taser. Its to scary to think about.

  • Ok, if the target person falls for any problem, it fries ... Then the security fence use of this weapon is gone by the lawyers.
