@stuya9 Cubs had 65hp some 85hp and no flaps. Super Cubs have flaps and as much as 150 to 180hp. They also have different wings with lots of lift. Most Super Cubs were used as bush planes or float planes.
The frame rate of the camera and the prop are in sync or ever time the camera takes a picture the prop just happens to be in the same place. Like a strobe light makes things look stopped in a dark room.
Thanks for the nice video. That didnt get your endorsement?
I am about ready to fly off for the first time in my new tail dragger. He always wanted your tail lined up with the runway, what to do in a X-wind? Later on you must have done some of those Im sure? I would think that you would land on one main and then the other only after the air speed has bled off enough for the plane to settle down to a straight and level attitude?
Its hard to get opinions about this because everybodys different.
Yep, got my endorsement a few months back. You always have to keep the momentum and the airplane pointed in the same direction, straight down the runway hopefully. In a crosswind use the ailerons to lower the upwind wing into the wind. Use the rudder to keep the plane straight. Its like a sideslip. Wheel land with the upwind wheel first, keeping the ailerons in do the rudder dance till the tail drops. Thats how I try to do it anyway.
Ya, its the settling down to your tail wheel thats going to be what I have to get used to. I have always done well in X-winds so I ain't to worried about it. Thanks so much for the input. I have been snowed in this last week and just staring at my plane, waiting.
Awesome video! I'm working on my tailwheel right now, had my first two flights yesterday and today, did some high-speed taxiing on the mains, and will break out the wheel landings tomorrow in a Champ. Thanks a lot! :)

@dimaflour it's an optical illusion. the prop's still spinning, but at that rpm, it looks like it's not.
