I remember that season - there was so much manipulation, the judges wanted Boyd to win, they criticized Braswell unfairly while praising Boyd in spite of the latter's pitch errors. I heard they also didn't allow Braswell to sing opera arias - I am sure if he had been allowed to sing say an aria he'd have won. As to before his accident - he was excellent, I am sure he would've become a major opera tenor.

He has a classical voice, sings beautifully a standard, but it's in front of an audience with no class. Bunch of work release some judge let out early.

He still is my favorite entertainer of all time. Have to come back to see these videos over and over, but seeing him perform in person ranks even more. I highly recommend joining his fan club and going to his shows if you can.

Sharon was very impressed with Donald here, but for some reason she turned on him later. I think he is outstanding all the way through the competition. He sings the best versions of Music of the Night and Impossible Dream I have ever heard. I believe if they had allowed him to sing opera on the show he would have won.
WHen I saw him that first night I was sure he would end up winning the show. At the end of the season I still thought he was the best and should have won. He has one of the most beautiful voices i have ever heard! I love his opera performances the best, but everything he sings is amazing. My thanks to God for giving Donald back that beautiful voice!

After seeing this, I can honestly say that the most intelligent person in that entire audition is less intelligent than my dog. My dog liked the song from the start....no wonder Simon Cowell has hundreds of mils...so many retards out there actually consider this a bad audition asking the judges to vote him out. The funniest part too is they were all outsmarted by a Baywatch actor, and a crazy singer's wife by miles and miles...pathetic audience..pathetic.

Sharon was very impressed with Donald here, but for some reason she turned on him later. I think he is outstanding all the way through the competition. He sings the best versions of Music of the Night and Impossible Dream I have ever heard. I believe if they had allowed him to sing opera on the show he would have won.

WHen I saw him that first night I was sure he would end up winning the show. At the end of the season I still thought he was the best and should have won. He has one of the most beautiful voices i have ever heard! I love his opera performances the best, but everything he sings is amazing. My thanks to God for giving Donald back that beautiful voice!

I saw this when it was on TV and I LOVED Donald immediately, and I could not BELIEVE they were booing! That was SO WRONG! They didn't even give him a chance, they just started booing! I was glad when they changed their mind, but, the booing never should have started at all. He should have won, he was GREAT!
