if you dont tell us what is in the room , like for example a kerosene lamp , a fireside or a candle this puzzle makes no sense ^^ because evrybody would light the match up first if he doesnt know , whats in the room

So maybe try: You are in a dark room with a canlde, a kerosene lamp and a fireside and you only have 1 match left. Wich one would you light up first to get some light ?

Its 42. Why? Because if the sum of the digits in the number is divisble by the actual number itself, it belongs in set A. Otherwise, set B.

Let me explain it in real numbers:

18....1+8=9 right? Take the sum: 9. Since 9 is divisible by 18, it belongs in set A.

42...4+2=6 right? Take the sum: 6. Since 6 is divisble by 42, it belongs in set A.

here is one of my hardest. but you can figure it out like i did. there are 3 bowls in front of you. you also have 12 cherries. you need to put an odd number of cherries in each bowl. here's the catch: you MUST HAVE MORE THAN 3 cherries in each bowl. can you figure it out?

that was my answer, but the real answer sort of confused me.

the real answer was you put 5 cherries in one bowl, 5 in another. that will make 2 cherries in the remaining bowl. you had to take one of the 5 cherries and dump it into the 2 remaining cherries to make 7. the reason this confused me is because of the remaining bowl with 0. 0 is obviously less than 3.

heres a puzzle i just made up:

"I have 3 wives, my first wife is 20 years older than my third wife, and my third wife being twice as young as my second wife who is 10 years older than me. My first wife and my third wife are born in the same year, so how old am i?"

Hints:

- It could help to go backwards. starting from the third wife

- try different numbers and put them into the equation and see what you get, then you will know how close you are

- the answer is an even number
