Just give someone some gold when they ask. You NEVER know what can happen. I once decided to delete my characters from a server. I consolidated all of the gold I had. First, I asked a mage if theyd either give me 10g or port me to dalaran. She ported me to dalaran. I then asked for 10g from a lot of people. Whoever would give me the 10g... would surprisingly RECEIVE 2k gold. Everyone was quite rude about it. Im sure the mage put the 2k gold in the mail from 'Unknown' to good use.
