Saw this on the big screen back in '66 when I was 16 and yeah, boy, I got hot watching it! My mom was next to me and I am sure she was regretting she and my dad had taken me to such an adult film! I think my dad must have gotten hot too and I wonder what my parents talked about after we got home! Yeah, the costume was a kind of dopey design but that body sure saved it!

Flint and Helm are the best of spoofdom. Always best to watch with gin martini in hand. First time I saw this was with my dad, age 9 or 10. My eyes almost popped out of my head when Charisse appeared, enrobed and dangling. My mother came into the room and told me it was a grown-up movie, and it was time for me to retire for the evening.

Right u r mca1218. I feel lucky 2 discover her on film. Cyd Charisse in most anything is the very definition of Grace & Beauty. Dont know why some focus on just her outfit instead of admiring this sexy lady is stunning & moving like that at age 45! Which I still can't believe. That in itself trumps what she's wearing! But I didnt mind the cape, the tassels, her tiny waist, or her legs! She was luscious & beautiful in every way and has a special place in my video library under C for CLASSY!!!

First of all, get a clue people. You are obviously lost. That costume was perfectly in synch with that whole tongue in cheek movie - "The Silencers" - a spoof of James Bond movies! As was her costume. Jesus H Christ - morons! Doah!!!!!! As for the lip-syncing thing, that was more to do with the technology of 43 years ago than anything. But even nowadays it gets screwed up. Have we forgotten Ashley Simpson on SNL!? And by the way, something else-here's a pearl-age is just a number. She's proof!!

I never understood the excessive comments about the costume. It's a bodysuit- spots or no- and what a body it fitted!! Ms. Charisse was nothing short of an amazon, even in her years as a Vegas dancer in the 1960's-70's alongside her crooner husband. And I only mention her age because she completely defies it in this clip. What a dame!!
