I actually like the language of the Elvis story. Maybe the "He had his less than sunny-" line is the one the one that hurt sit. Perhaps "toilet" needs to be "camode". lol
It's good to hear "her spine was curved" return in another story, haha. Between that and the talk of scars, that one is quintessential you. :)
That last one is one of my favorites too. Lets people see into the characters mind while sampling their taste.
And one more thing, speaking of age, there's something that Penn Gillette said David Greenberger told him when his parents were getting old and fading away. "Get to know and love your parents for who they are now and don't mourn for who they used to be."
