Imagine - if Sakon and Ukon went about and tried to posess his body though they'd have a 50% chance of tanking him before he could curse them. The legendary stupid brothers and just pretty much anybody who gets incited/bleeds quite abit in the series is another good choice for him.

@philsnk dude you forget that Hidan (1) has chakra of his own that probably helps him move that fast (2) he's a S-class ninja (3) he's Akatsuki (4) he's most likely been using that scythe for a really long time and is used to it's weight and (5)that scythe is his only defense for when Kakuzu gets pissed off and punches him, he NEEDS to be that fast.

I do agree with you about Team 10 + Kakashi and swords, in my opinion most off the *good* ninja in Naruto don't really act like ninja.

@Hetalialuver1 Also the data book actually noted Hidan is capable of performing standard ninjutsu/genjutsu's - its just he prefers the Jashin Curse technique; it was obvious after commiting to the Jashin cause it is most likely he'd have developed better durability. Also Hidan's scythe was meant to have other tricks/fucntions but Kishimoto didn't have time to show all of its abilities :(

@TheEmbertiger The animation style changed abruptly halfway because it's part of a different episode (episode 85) -- there are several teams who take on the episodes each week, and some are better than others. The crew who did episode 85 also did 83, and they are top tier. They don't do many episodes, but the ones they do are amazing.

I've seen this episode hundreds of times, and my jaw still drops when watching the taijutsu sequences -- especially the one in the water.
