Can you give me a link for a video for my issue? The issue is that whenever I use my mic(for example teamspeak, skype etc.) the others can hear if I listen to some music or the sounds from video games I play... and the sounds are from the headset, not from the speakers so you don't think that that is the problem... I googled, and what I could find as a solution is that I mute my stereo mix, but as u said in your video, it's grey and this thing with mic boost wouldnt help... Hope u can help?! Thx

@dilemma190 even though it's greyed out you should still be able to press the mute button underneath it. Under Realtek HD Audio Input, make sure you have Stereo Mix displayed and then you should be able to mute it.

my problem is my mic is really quiet from my preamp.. and it barely records when the gain on my preamp is down.. but if i turn it up it is way too loud and produces white noise. so gain i do a gain boost for my external microphone.. or is this just for the computer mic
