You're one of my role models. I have a lot of anxiety which prevents me from practicing and feeling comfortable at the same time in my own home, but seeing people play so amazingly like you are making me slowly get over it. Thanks :3

@xxFrozenintime No problem!! I used to have this problem too! If you play violin for school, you can do what I used to do. I'd grab a practice room (in the band room) afterschool and play in there. Also, they have these cool things called "Practice mutes". It rests over your bridge and makes your playing EXTREMELY quiet, but you can still practice normally.

And of course, don't be afraid to confidently make mistakes, so you can easily see what needs to be fixed! :) Thanks!

@Arrow9100kj Dude, I got new violin strings yesterday and when I tried playing, EVERYTHING was out of tune. Like, I swear that getting new strings MOVED all the interval where I'm used to the notes. So I spent all of today getting used to the new strings, so I'm glad you think the high notes were okay!

Hold out for that vacation!!! You're almost there. Skype sounds fun as well. ;)

hey im somewhat of a novice violinist since your so awesome can you give some tips on how to play softer,i sorta know the basic is like playing high near the finger board but its still rough to get it like what you do ^.^l|l any help would be lovely

@crazymutter Along with playing closer to the fingerboard, try to ease up on your arm weight a bit. Also, make sure that while trying to play softly you are using enough bow. I know that you use a lot of bow to play loudly, but you need to have light, sweeping strokes to have good tone (not sound rough) and still play softly. This song isn't the best example of that since the articulation is mostly short and separated. xD
