  • Awesome

  • this valkery is cool and with the super battle armaor

  • OK, i look for some nyan nyan stuff and end up with this. WTF Kind of show is this

  • my god its beautiful.I can't believe the detail.and its metal."Lion" was a beautiful choice for the video also.I really can't say anymore but I love this Valkyrie.well actually I love a lot of Valkyries... :)

  • Wrong. Robotech is just a weak adaptation of the original Macross. Robotech has absolutely nothing to do with Macross Frontier.

  • but this is newer or what?

  • The series aired in Japan in 2008, as mentioned on the description on the right.

  • Sizes of the 1/72 and 1/60 are very much different due to the way Bandai has done the sculpting. The 1/100 and 1/72 are more anime accurate with the "slim" design while the 1/60 tends to be more chunky as it's fellow figure brothers bandai has done over the years.

However the 1/60 is far more durable than the 1/100 parts swapper or the 1/72 thin plastic model kit. However the 1/60's have their own problems with QC issues such as paint and tamp print applications and some minor wears.

  • Nice Video. I just ordered the VF-25F but this video is making me wish I had gotten the VF-25S instead.

I love the song too. The scene when it plays during the last episode was epic.

  • Nice to hear.. let's create more this type of video soon

  • just remember the VF-25S suffers from Turtle neck syndrom. So you have a good buy on the VF-25F, but bewarned, the screws on the shoulders are VERY tight and can break off.

  • Id really appreciate if you could confirm it! Thank you very much!

  • I've checked with the 1/72 scale model. Another series from Bandai for this Macross Frontier story. The height and the size are nearly the same.

by then, i would suggest you consider it is near 1/72 scale... hope this can help u

  • By the way, your video is very well done, I love it!

  • Thanks for answering! Well, yes, the dimensions correspond to a 1/60 toy, but as at the end of their e-mail they stated: We are sorry for cannot confirm you the actual scale. We hope the movie information can give you the answer I got a bit worried about spending so much money on a toy that could not to be the one I want

  • Unfortunatelly, they answered me Referring to your questions, this item should be 1/72. As the product does not state the actual scale, we prefer you check against the following movie. This movie states clear about the model's height and width. Although the movie showing is VF-25S, they are the same series and using the same body from assembly:

  • oh.. it's so surpising. But can you check that the scale by the dimension stated in the movie?

I would help to confirm the scale of it

  • As the item is described as 1/72 but the photos of the box, the price and the Bandai Macross Frontier DX Chogokin correspond to 1/60 toys, which is the scale Im actually interested in I asked them about this fact.

  • Hi Turninegg,

I've just had a look on your sponsors web page for Im very interested on buying the Alto Custom version of this same toy (1/60, right?), but it is offered like this: Ref. No. 527820-12000 (Price: HK$ 1,020 / US$ 130.77) Bandai Macross Frontier DX 1/72 Messiah Valkyrie Alto Custom VF-25F, and is announced at the Macross Series Shop as a Bandai Macross Frontier DX Chogokin.
