@nobodiez13 I think the producers of the show saw the massive failure Masked Rider the Saban series had and wanted to distance themselves from it as much as possible. They didn't do a bad job as far as I can tell.

@MrGekko1999 Actually Dragon Knight was very popular in Japan. No offence, but it's incredibly ignorant to just assume the overall opinion of a fanbase in entirely different country. Unless you have actual proof fro such a claim. Ryuki at the time (2002) was very controversial among Kamen Rider fans, for the premise it's self.

Ixa is the most overrated rider. There are many better riders. Kuuga, Faiz, Kaixa, Agito, Blade, Chalice, etc. Most of the part of all the ixa love is because kiva is one of the seasons people have seen. Every person I know on hju has probably seen kiva.

hey kamen rider dragon knight didnt do all that bad... at lleast there better then power rangers... i wish they would bring kamen rider (aka masked riders) into the u.s. and plus they started first then the power rangers.. but any way good back round for the video man... i hope someday theyll make kamen rider kiva in the u.s. its got potential...

I do like the Dragon Knight henshin better than Ryuki... except for the spinning card in the belt. That was corny. But the henshin energy x-globe is a lot better than the flipping mirror images.

@UltimateMiketron Dragon Knight wasn't that bad really. It won an Emmy, and while the story wasn't terribly great, there is plenty of room for Fan Fictions. Ryuki most likely is much better (haven't seen it yet)... I will agree that Saban's Masked Rider did flop, but you have to crack some eggs to make an omlete
