I really like this - it's the perfect a-line. I'm sure soon we'll see more cutting! Your wife's update is a combination bowl cut and a-line. In the 'posh spice' era, I had mine cut higher and higher with greater stacking. My hair was clippered almost at the crown and the sides were a steep angle down past my chin. I loved it...my style is much more mainstream now!
